Hello Mr. Scott Walker; how’s your day—better than the unions and the teachers you’ve just legislatively violated I would assume. One of these days, if not today, the people of this nation will finally realize that our similarities make us much stronger than our differences, culturally or ethnically, and when that day happens, a day very much like these current days in Wisconsin, the exploitative smokescreen you’ve used to cozen the disenfranchised into believing that their scathingly unjustifiable sacrifice will suffice for the gross, negligent, selfish proliferation of those already proliferated will be confusingly gazed upon and inhaled no more! There will come a time in people’s lives when they will be forced to recognize that the affluent care just as much about keeping the downtrodden parceled within the crumbs as they care about guaranteeing that they, alone, will remain affluent within the river of wealth that only flows in one direction, with an incredulous captain in you, Scott Walker, disingenuously dedicated to the spoiler role of a gluttonous, fraudulent, manipulating, greed beaver; hell bent on damming up that river of wealth to ensure that it remains just as it is for the modest who look to travel upstream and the overindulged who will stop at nothing so they won’t have to face the mere possibility of reverting a measly step and a half back downstream.
Thanks to your actions Mr. Walker, many in the middle, on the left, and even a sane, infinitesimal few on the right will be forced to make a gut-checking choice in 2012! Are you, the people, going to vote ethnically, religiously, rhetorically, politically, or economically rationally? There are other ways to raise money for the budget. Scraping it off of the backs of unions and the workers is not a necessity—it is a choice made by Scott Walker and the ideology that he follows. There is no economic rule-of-thumb that demands or suggests that the best place to begin with these charitable, now mandatory, tax donations to a populist problem should begin in earnest with those who are least equipped to shoulder such a load. If a reasonable increase of taxation of the rich is supposed to be a punishment of success, then an unreasonable increase of the taxation of the poor and the middle-class is obviously and blatantly a punishment for not being successful enough, at least not successful enough to qualify for those Bush-like tax cuts that so many of the conservatives, just like you Mr. Walker, are so gung-ho to financially skin the non-rich just in order to be able to sustain them at the expense of forsaking all others!
If the Democratic Party doesn’t use this as an opportunity to reclaim its rightful positioning on the side of all of those not in the top 1 to 10%, then it has failed to live up to the very ideology that it is supposed to stand for, and that is unacceptable! As Kenny Rogers would say, “Know when to hold’em! Know when to fold’em!” Otherwise, step aside and let another entity take the lead. To me, what’s happening in Wisconsin is just another microcosm of an urgent and troubling dilemma facing this entire country, and that would be the inability to stand up for you, not for Joe the Plumber, not for the Koch Bros., not for your political party, and not for your political, marching orders, but for you! If the same country that famously swept the conservatives into power all across this nation, including Wisconsin and my home state of Arkansas, in November of 2010 cannot muster the moxie to re- sweep every Scott Walker right back out of the door and back underneath the top 1%, ass-kissing rock that he scuttled out from under, then it deserves to be stripped of its dignity, its opportunities and its collective bargaining.
If you put a shark in your swimming pool and then cretinously decide to jump in for a friendship swim, a shark that’s already bitten you multiple times during previous administrations, including the Bush administration; my tolerance for the gullibility of suckerism grows very impatient and weary of throwing you another rescue rope! Scott Walker, you are the latest shark in the pool of Wisconsin, and if the people insist on swimming with you because they feel that you won’t bite them, then happy chomping to you, but I think it’s time for the progressive left to call in Chief Martin Bordy with their votes, because it’s time for Jaws to go! So to the Democratic left, I say that the only thing accomplished by sitting on your hands is a diminished applause and a non-realization for your beliefs! Seated hands and closed mouths say nothing for you cause, but it says everything to your opposition, which in my opinion says, “Do what you must, and take what you will. The fear of being challenged is so overwhelming that I think that I’ll choose to remain still,” not this time!
It’s time to start the removal of you, Scott Walker, from office! It’s time to take God out of the budget, and it’s time to remove all of the Donald Trump’s, the Steve Forbes’ and every other corporate, fat cat from the no-tax zone! There’s capitalism by innovation and demand, and then there is capitalism by exploitation and corruption. The second one is more popular, and only one seems to tickle the intellectual fancy of the conservative ideology, and I think it’s unashamedly apparent which one you’ve chosen Mr. Walker! I hope to see you in the unemployment line very soon Mr. Walker, and if you and I are both lucky; maybe we’ll get to see you have to apply for a union affiliated job, so someone can scrape the financial hide off of your back for a change! If the progressive left can finally find its political mojo, and win back the political momentum in 2012; starting with the presidency and ending with the Governorship of Wisconsin in the form of a gubernatorial recall at some point in the future for you Mr. Walker, it will be the overreaching arrogance of your hand that is responsible for doing what leaders of the progressives have been begging for and trying to do for eons. There’s an old, 80’s, game show called “Press Your Luck.” You should watch it sometimes, because I think you just hit a Wisconsin whammy!
