Tea Party Rally Infiltrated by Anti-Tea Party Activist (VIDEO)

An anti-Tea Party activist by the name of Mike Lee recently crashed a Tea Party rally, dressed as George Washington. Participants in the rally, and even staff believed that he was really there for the rally, and no one tried to stop him when he went on the main stage and took over the mic to share his message of “God, Jesus, and Guns”.

Mr. Lee shook hands and mingled with members of the crowd, before signing a copy of the Bill of Rights as “George Washington”, and adding an “LOL” and a smiley face to the end of his signature.

He also sand the national anthem, using auto-tune.

After spending some time talking to the Tea Party participants, and getting encouragement from them, he then left the rally and came back with an African-American man, dressed as a slave. Mr. Lee then started using his megaphone to chant “Yes we can!” and to talk about how America needs to bring back slavery.

Judging from the video, it appears that most of the participants in the rally were fooled by his impersonation of one of their members.

Big fan of the site guys, but this was not up-to-par. I think you should remove. We need to stick to only the best of videos and facts. This comedy doesn’t line-up with educated liberal standards. I agree with rhinohouse in every word.

I think it was a good idea, sort of. I do wish that it was a bigger turnout and why do you have to “pixel out” the faces? They were in public. News cameras don’t do that, do they? Having pixelated faces of people just kind of standing there looking at you kind of defeats the purpose which was to show the way they are, right? In a way, this is embarrassing because it doesn’t show, at the end, what I believe you were trying to convey.

Not that funny really. I was expecting more. The guy certainly is no actor or comedian. Also, the Teabagger turnout is too sparse. It might have been funnier if he went to a rally w/a large crowd. But maybe he wouldn’t have the courage to do it. I comes off as a stupid college kid’s prank. Since the Teabaggers’ reaction to the black slave is pixled out, it cancels out the punch line.

I think the fact that there are only about 20 teabaggers there is part of the joke itself.
