LONDON (AP) — Police say Sean Hoare, the whistleblower reporter who alleged widespread hacking at the News of the World, has been found dead.

Police said Hoare’s death at his home in England was not considered to be suspicious, according to Britain’s Press Association news agency.

Hoare was quoted by The New York Times as saying that phone-hacking was widely used and even encouraged at the News of the World tabloid under then-editor Andy Coulson.

If all of Rupert Murdoch employees are like the doorman of the apartment building where he resides, God help him: http://dasteepsspeaks.blogspot.com/2011/07/conceit-is-gods-gift-to-little-men.html

Since it’s an American company, I hope American detectives have an opportunity to see all evidence!

Part of the story was missing (Since Scotland Yard had been dragged into the Murdoch scandal,) “Police said Hoare’s death at his home in England was not considered to be suspicious.”

So the medical examiners report has already DEFINITEVELY ruled out suspicion in record time? Bull! Considering how entangled Scotland Yard is with this scandal I would highly doubt the truth in the police account of this case. There should be an independent agency looking into this.

i find it sus that they haven’t mentioned the CAUSE of his death, yet. certainly that fact would go a long way to at LEAST give us an idea as to whether it was due to either nefarious reasons, or natural causes…

How could it not be, at the very LEAST, suspicious?

And we are supposed to believe this death was “not considered to be suspicious…” I suppose it is possible. And Murdoch could really be the Easter Bunny on an off day… More likely they have Inspector Clouseau’s English cousin Inspector Clueless doing the investigating…

These people are crooks the FBI should Investigate the whole Republican party from 9 -11, which I have my doubts that it was terrorist that blew up the twin towers,I think it was George Bush,Dick Cheney and Donald Rumsfeld, because without that they would have never been elected, and the American people was cheated on his first term when his brother helped George win!

This same guy was on CNN the other day saying phone hacking was a common practice which “Everyone knew about, and encouraged”…. He claimed that it was encouraged from the top… He was supposed to be making his rounds across the media.
