This is a call to action for all Americans who believe we need to return sanity to America politics and stop the influence of Radical TeaPublicans from destroying the Economy.
In order to stay informed about what the TeaPublicans are doing, I have a secret email address. I just received this today:

The Senate will vote on Cut, Cap, and Balance on Saturday. In the meantime, there are 2 other plans we need to watch carefully and take action on: the McConnell plan and the Gang of Six plan. Both plans will raise the debt ceiling.
We need you to take 3 actions today:
1. Call both of your Senators and tell them to vote NO on both the McConnell plan and the Gang of Six plan. In both offices, ask how the Senator intends to vote. If you cannot get through to the DC office, call one of the local offices in your state.
2. Call your Republican Congressman and ask whether the Congressman has co-signed Congressman Walsh’s letter yet. If not, ask when they intend to do so. If you cannot get through to the DC office, call one of the local offices in your state.
3. Report back to us at support@teapartypatriots.org and let us know how each Senator intends to vote and whether the Republican Congressmen will co-sign Congressman Walsh’s letter.

Here is what I think ALL Progressives, Independents, Democrats and People with Any Gray Matter Need to do TODAY:
Fight the TeaPublicans influence with their own tactics:
1.) call your Senator and Representative, demand that they support Raising the Debt Ceiling without holding America, Americans and the Economy Hostage;
2.) email or call the Teapublicans at their contact info. Tell them YOU called YOUR Senator/Representative and told them to stop running scared from the Radical TeaPublicans and to vote for Raising the Debt Ceiling Without Concessions to the Radical Right;
3.) Ask your friends to do the same.
We need to return sanity to the Debt Ceiling Issue and having your Senators and Representatives running scared from the TeaPublicans isn’t going to make that happen!
The United States Public Debt Act of 1939 eliminated separate limits on different types of debt. The Public Debt Act of 1941 raised the limit, and consolidated nearly all federal borrowing under the U.S. Treasury.
I just love how wanting to follow the Constitution is considered radical–a real sign of our times. Sad! :(

Where in the Constitution does it say there’s a “ceiling” on how much the Government can spend? Please show me, specifically where it says that.
