Obama Bans Human Rights Violators Entry Into The US

Author: 10:40 pm

On August 4th 2011, President Barack Obama signed a proclamation denying entry to those that violate human rights and humanitarian laws. This includes those that violate the rights of individuals on the basis of race, color, descent, sex, disability, membership in an indigenous group, language, religion, political opinion, national origin, ethnicity, membership in a particular social group, birth, or sexual orientation or gender identity.

The proclamation states :

“The United States enduring commitment to respect for human rights and humanitarian law requires that its Government be able to ensure that the United States does not become a safe haven for serious violators of human rights and humanitarian law and those who engage in other related abuses.  Universal respect for human rights and humanitarian law and the prevention of atrocities internationally promotes U.S. values and fundamental U.S. interests in helping secure peace, deter aggression, promote the rule of law, combat crime and corruption, strengthen democracies, and prevent humanitarian crises around the globe.  I therefore have determined that it is in the interests of the United States to take action to restrict the international travel and to suspend the entry into the United States…”

  • Guess we better kick Rumsfeld, Rove and Cheney out of the U.S. too.

  • Oh Thank God! You know… it’s so good to know that I can’t even get a job frothing milk at Starbucks and I’m an experienced and educated American… And our stock market is starting to actually reflect how worthless everything is because we print United States Dollars like we’re making Monopoly money…. and, whatever jobs actually were created by “ARRA” cost the taxpayers upwards of $120,000 each…. and the President and Congress are both really happy with themselves for figuring out a “compromise” to raise the limit on the credit card that we can’t live without and can’t afford at the same time (even though, the big problem was that some Americans (rich… poor… middle class… whatever) weren’t paying enough taxes… So…. after all of that being said, I’m so happy to hear the Robert Mugabe will have a hard time at Passport Control at Dulles…. Thanks for doing something meaningful for us Mr. President!

  • The only real question is: How are the T-Publicans going to convince the bubbleheads that denying human rights abusers entrance to the U.S. is wrong? That Human rights abusers are just as good as anyone else?

Well Michelle Bachmann, her husband and the Tea Partyists had better not travel abroad. Bachmann’s husband has violated the rights of the individual being parents bring him their children to “save” from their gayness… (he isn’t license to do that counseling, but it is still legal in his state for some reason. WHY???)

First, America has to have rock solid laws that are enforced. Human rights laws… enforced. Michelle Bachmann went screaming from a townhall meeting that she was being held hostage when 2 women asked her questions in a bathroom. (she left the stage early thinking there were only gay people there) Bachmann then called the police and made a report on the non-incident, which is against the law. The false report was against the law. She signed anti gay petitions and believes there is a gay agenda, when in fact, she has a anti-gay, anti human rights agenda.

She also has a religious agenda. Bachmann’s first foray into politics was because her “foster” kids in public school were not being taught her religion and were taught science and not creationism. Bachmann does not believe in freedom of religion, and is running on an anti human rights agenda.

  • Who gets to decide what a human rights violator is?
