Wow! I don’t like ANY of those songs, let alone own an expensive Apple iPod. BTW the iPods are reserved for rich Democrats that can afford them (e.g. Obama and followers). This poor Republican shops at Goodwill!

I suppose joke lost on ya there. Most of those are Liberal or left wings bands. And most of the titles are ironic, humorous or downright mocking it. Honestly could you fail anymore?

Eventually the Tea Party will disband as this group comes to realize they’re only corporate shills for big business. The Independent voter will recognize this much sooner & avoid voting Republican for some time.

You’re forgetting most Conservatives are angry old men:
    They’d listen to older music!

Money (That’s What I Want) by the Beatles.
    Taxman by the Beatles.
Can’t Buy Me Love by the Beatles.
    Money by Pink Floyd.
Takin’ Care Of Business by Bachman Turner Overdrive
Take the Money and Run by The Steve Miller Band
(Also Listen to those little people work!)
Sixteen Tons by Tennessee Ernie Ford
9 to 5 by Dolly Parton

You are correct on a couple of those songs. I am sick of working “9 to 5″ just to have the liberal “Taxman” take my “Money”. Now I “Can’t Buy Me Love” because I’m too broke. So, I have to haul another “Sixteen Tons” because “Money (That’s What I Want)” is what I need to start “Takin’ Care of Business” like paying the doctor bills, mortgage, taxes, etc. Too bad the liberal government always seems to “Take the Money and Run” with it to the welfare folks…

I hope you realize “Kill the Poor” by the Dead Kennedys is satire. If you did know that, this one’s probably a little more over the top:

Don’t confuse all conservatives with the GOP. Real conservatives don’t believe in the Fox News/GOP BS.

Then take your party back from the tea party extremists!!

Just a slight correction, the GOP is not my party. If the GOP wants to be dumb that is their own problem. And it is not my job to fix what is not my problem. Their are many conservative/progressive (some might think that this is an oxymoron) groups around the country who represent my beliefs and ideal much more than the GOP or the DEM. So my plan is not to take any party back…it’s to kick them out.

Please advise which groups are conservative/progressive. I’d love to look them up and read about them. It would make me feel much better about the world if they really exist.

These are the some of the groups which I share beliefs with. Some are more ‘right’ that ‘left’, IMO; while, others are obviously more liberal.

            Coffee Party
            No Labels
            Common Cause
            RLC
            Labor Party
            Green Party

If you have any suggestions of groups that I should look into please let me know!

Marko….it really is folks like you who need to redefine the party. I don’t hear many (any?) of you speaking out. I’d also like to take a look at any conservative/progressive candidates and their platform. Liberals are not the ones who will eventually convince your party they are headed down a dangerous road. It would be wonderful for liberals and conservative/progressives to find that middle ground that will actually bring about some real hope and change in Washington. The God & Guns faction will only continue to divide us all and gridlock any progress.

Finally one reasonable conservative. I am a liberal, but I respect conservatives, as long as they are reasonable and respect other people’s point of view.

That’s is actually a really good point. I should be more specific that stating “real”. Making ambiguous statements like that makes be no better that Mr. Glenn Beck. I will try to present my arguments better in the future. Thanks.
