Well, it turns out that the Tea Party Congressman who got elected preaching fiscal responsibility is fiscally irresponsible AND morally bankrupt. According to the Chicago Sun-Times, Walsh owes 9 years worth of child support which comes out to an astonishing $117,000. While Walsh claims that he won’t place one more dollar of debt of our kids, he has placed $117,000 worth of debt on his own kids.
Before getting elected, he had told Laura Walsh that because he was out of work or between jobs, he could not make child support payments. So she was surprised to read in his congressional campaign disclosures that he was earning enough money to loan his campaign $35,000.
“Joe personally loaned his campaign $35,000, which, given that he failed to make any child support payments to Laura because he ‘had no money’ is surprising,” Laura Walsh’s attorneys wrote in a motion filed in December seeking $117,437 in back child support and interest. “Joe has paid himself back at least $14,200 for the loans he gave himself.”
Not only is this Tea Party Congressman a hypocrite, he’s also a dead beat dad with poor family values. He should probably pay his own debts first before he dares criticize President Obama again.

Joe Walsh is a dead-beat. Their is no shade of gray here with this man, he said that he doesn’t “want to leave debt on the back of his children.” but he is doing exactly that. If Joe Walsh was a private citizen, he would be thrown in jail for non-payment of child support, he would STILL have to pay back child-support once he gets out, and still pay back double or sometimes TRIPLE of what he owes each month when he was serving time in jail.
Joe Walsh, you are a sick person who only thinks about yourself, you would probably run over your own mother and kids as long as money or a pay-raise was involved. I’m kinda surprised this is news. The story about Walsh and his delinquent (to put it mildly) child support payments came out at the end of July. And, not so coincidentally, he stopped appearing on cable news then, since no one – probably not even on Fox – would let him appear without asking about his economic neglect of his own kids.
I certainly hope he’s toast come election time – the guy is one of the worst of a really crappy crop of Congressional newbies.
