Police Brutality does not work!
……”if we don’t learn our history, we’re doomed to repeat it”.
Regardless of how people are reacting to Occupy Wall Street, the movement has gone International. That can only be a good thing!
As the protests moved into Week 4 the number of nations and cities with OWS groups have increased almost exponentially.
CNN has an entire web page devoted to the growth of OWS.
While most protest are peaceful, there have been cases of violence. OWS in Rome was met with violence at a level that surpassed the Week 2 police brutality in New York City. The root of the Rome violence is not discernible via most articles. And the prospect of provocateurs is ever-president but one thing stays true; brutality looks terrible on camera. On camera shots feed sympathy for the movement and recordings of violence could help the OWS win in the long run.

Civil rights Protest March with Hip-Hop
I am no fan of Hip-Hop Music or Rap Music because of some messages it delivers. However, read a response to that last video that was posted as a comment.
Fucking niggers should’ve been shot then we wouldn’t have this shite music today.

Violence against people who protest, is a behavior that is doomed to failure. The human spirit will eventually win out.
One must wonder, why haven’t the authorities learned that people who protest do so for reasons that are beyond the threat of violence? Is it so difficult for authorities to know that the very violence they ‘lay-on’ protesters helps the OWS cause?
Leaders of the Civil Rights Movement such as Congressmen John Lewis and Andrew Young have commented about protest march violence. Brutality from authorities, was necessary to draw attention to those who would not pay attention to the wrongs in the nation. Lewis was beaten to within inches of his life.
Admonishment and corporal punishment might change the behavior of the child who has shown a need for corrective action. Children need to have their world view shaped towards doing that which is ‘right’ and avoidance of that which is ‘wrong.’ The point is of greater significance when one sees how the message of OWS continues to spread.
A great person once yelled words, on camera, a message that was heard around the world. “Don’t taze me, Bro“!
OWS has gone global, violence is futile.
