Fox News always gets me steaming. The world awoke today to news that Moammar Gadhafi is dead, apparently shot by rebels soon after Nato Jet fighters struck a convoy of Gadhafi loyalists who are believed to have been carrying Gadhafi. The convoy was said to be carrying out actions which were deemed dangerous to civilians, thus sparking the Nato action.
Apparently Steve Doocy and his Fox and Friends sidekicks were not able to stomach the fact that President Obama was correct and instrumental with his support, in the actions that eventually culminated with the death of the once crazed…megalomaniacal Libyan strongman.
Doocy, during his ‘Fox and Friends’ show this morning (Oct 20) continued to harp on his feeling that Obama was trying to ‘lead from behind’…something Mr. Doocy frowned upon as being weak and not showing the face of the strong and macho image of the America that he obviously wants to show.
Mr. Doocy’s actions and sour-puss opinions are not unexpected, he has voiced his tainted, twisted and unintelligent opinions before…something that is always a treasure trove of laughs for the comedic reporting of Jon Stewart and others. The Fox and Friends team brought on numerous “informed guests” including former (thank goodness) ex-ambassador John Bolton who also echoed Mr. Doocy’s feeling that the Obama administration should have done this, that and the other, instead of letting the “Arab Spring” bring about it’s own unfolding of the events.
These guys…Mr. Doocy and Mr. Bolton, are of the opinion that President Obama should have gone in after Gadhafi much earlier and Bombed the hell out of Libya to find and get Gadhafi, instead of just supporting the rebels who were opposing Gadhafi.
