Santorum Advocates Assassinating Scientists
We’re all used to Rick Santorum saying horribly bigoted things. We’re all used to Rick Santorum saying horribly sexist things. We also know he’s anti-science.
Well, yesterday the vehemently “pro-life” candidate told a group in South Carolina that it would be a “wonderful thing” for Iranian nuclear scientists to turn up dead.
“I think we should send a very clear message that if you are scientist from Russia or North Korea or from Iran, and you are going to work on a nuclear program to develop a nuclear bomb for Iran, you are not safe.”

Defense Secretary Leon Panetta is currently in South Korea, trying to end North Korea’s nuclear program.
I can’t help but wonder how Santorum would define a scientist who’s working on the nuclear bomb? Einstein had a peripheral role in the development of our nuclear bomb. Something makes me think Santorum wouldn’t take the time to distinguish an Einstein from an Oppenheimer.

How Christ-like the pious Mr. Santorum is! He holds the Holy Bible in one hand and a gun in the other, so certain is he to mete out justice in Christ’s name. As President of the US he will be judge and executioner in one!

i have noted that readers are pissed.i have also noticed that personalities now seem more relavent than the principles being discussed.if we as voters don’t gain some sort of perspective and real knowledge of fact,we are doomed with the fruits of uninformed choice.xd infinitum

Anyone who can use phrasing “‘someone’ turning up dead, it’s a wonderful thing” has no basis calling themselves pro-life. Killing, in any way, shape, or form, is not a wonderful thing. Unfortunately it seems the attitude of many nowadays is to destroy anything they oppose/disagree with. In the words of a much older and wiser generation (at least on this topic): Why can’t we all just get along?
