Anti-Gay Activist Uses Penn State Scandal To Claim That Sexual Abuse Causes Homosexuality, Says Homosexuals Rape Boys
In the wake of the Penn State scandal in which defensive coordinator Jerry Sandusky has been caught molesting boys as young as ten years old, conservatives are exploiting the scandal to push their ant-gay agenda. Anti-gay activist Peter LaBarbera of the conservative group Americans For Truth About Homosexuality claimed that sexual abuse caused homosexuality and took things much further by claiming that homosexuals rape boys. According to Christian News Wire, LaBarbera had the following observations:
“[H]ow many boy victims of homosexual predator [Jerry] Sandusky will end up believing that being homosexual (“gay”) is “who they are”? How many will struggle with sexual identity issues? And how many will be told by LGBT advocates and liberal-minded people just to “accept being gay” as “who they are” because they were “born that way”?

Sandusky is married but obviously has a homosexuality (perversion) problem. Yet pro-”gay” liberals will deny any linkage between homosexuality and Sandusky’s rape/seduction of boys. In fact, after news of the Penn State scandal came to light, “gay” activists stressed that Sandusky is married and that most pedophile cases involve “straight, married men.” However, behavior is what matters — not a person’s marital status or self-described “sexual orientation.” Sandusky was married but was he really “straight” (sexually or morally)? Some inner demons or life traumas — probably in his own youth — caused him to lust for boys, wrecking untold misery in the lives of his victims. Behavior is the issue, and this was a case of a serial homosexual predator raping boys.”
On the one hand, LaBarbera says that sexual abuse is a cause of homosexuality, and then in the same breath, says that homosexuals rape children. It’s hate speech and a shameless exploitation of a tragic and sick scandal. Despite the fact that Jerry Sandusky has a wife, LaBarbera is casting him as a secret homosexual and portraying the LGBT community as a community of pedophiles. LaBarbera is making claims that have no basis in fact whatsoever. There is absolutely no evidence linking homosexuality to pedophilia. In fact, pedophiles can be anyone, from any culture, of any sex, and any sexuality. In other words, pedophiles can be gay or straight. Mr. LaBarbera is a hate merchant and he’s ignorant. As holyhitops intimates, there is a blatant logical fallacy in LaBarbera’s claim. Homosexuals become that way due to homosexual rape (evidently older, already perverted, men raping innocent, not yet diseases boys), and homosexuals all rape boys. Isn’t that a chicken/egg problem. Where/how did the whole phenomena start? Fools like LaBarbera rely upon the fact that, it doesn’t matter what sort of nonsense you spew, as long as it is directed against a disfavored group, you will get plenty of people nodding their heads in agreement, never even bothering to think through whether the claim has any basis in fact or makes any sense whatsoever. Remember that all black men wish to rape white women.

If you are going to report on 2011 sexual perversion, then at least speak from the right pulpit. This Sandusky is a pedophile. Period. 40 times over 15 years documented, according to the Grand Jury.
He’s probably straight, not gay. So it’s not a gay perversion problem anymore. It’s a straight perversion problem. So says the psychiatric association.

Peter LaBarbera is obsessed with gay men and their sex lives. I think it is he who has the bigger problem, unable to reconcile his desires with his self-imposed shame. Rather than seeking clarity in his own life, he has decided to make a career out of trying to wreak the lives of other people. He is a sad, pathetic man.
What happened at Penn State is a tragedy. The alleged actions of Sandusky and his enablers are heinous indeed. But they were the actions of a sexual predator, not an ordinary gay person, the vast majority of whom live normal, moral lives and contribute much good to our society. LaBarbera sees this incident as a fund-raising opportunity, and he’s wasting no time jumping on the anti-gay gravy train.
Rape is not about sexual attraction; it is about power and control. A child rapist is a rapist. The gender of either the perpetrator or the victim often doesn’t matter; it’s who they can have power over.
If homosexuality is caused by homosexual rape then it had to start somewhere.
