It’s not much but it’s a start. Clocking in at only one minute and twenty two seconds, it’s just a blip on the radar but CBSs’ Scott Pelley does something rarely seen anymore: He calls a Republican a liar.
OK, he doesn’t actually use the word ”liar” but he might as well have.

Wow! That’s practically a rabid partisan attack! Well, it is as far as the Right is concerned. Someone pointing out that they are lying through their teeth is a sin according to the gospel of the GOP. We’re all supposed to give equal weight to “both sides” no matter how distorted and provably false one side is. It’s quite refreshing to see a news network (that is not MSNBC) ignore the accusations of “liberal bias” (which is, and always has been, garbage) and just show reality as it is.
