Michael DeRosa, Sr., whose Facebook page is public, posted this about Occupy Wall Street:

Please feel free to contact the NYPD and offer your opinions Michael DeRosa, Sr., George Cruz, Wayne Rhatigan, Rey Hernandez and Michael DeMeo. Please share and ask your friends to do the same. It’s time to toss out some bad apples.

  • Let that be a lesson to you Mr. DeRosa Sr (jeez, you have kids too? I feel sorry for the lessons you’re teaching them) when you’re a cop, your behavior represents the force, and you are PAID to be a public servant.

You’re a disgusting Human, and you do not deserve to wear a uniform, let alone call yourself an American.

  • He’s pulled his page. My husband is a cop and this makes me so very sad and angry that these NYPD and others in big cities across the country are giving them such a horrible name. My hubby works too hard for too little pay and puts his life on the line for the public. Sure there are bad nuts in any group, but Mr. DeRosa and co. seem to have it in spades.

  • If you think complaining to the police about the police is going to help you, I suggest you contact Officer U. B. Buggin.

I just think it’s funny that not one word on how Rey Hernandez’s words are racially motivated. Oh, he’s OBVIOUSLY being sarcastic, or funny… Just substitute your own color/religion/sexual persuasion for “white”… The problem is RACISM, not only when it’s against YOUR OWN skin color.

  • Speaking as one of the guys who got cracked in the head that night, not finding their humor so cute. I took a picture of a cop in riot gear then he hit me in the head when I turned away. Never thought I’d live to see the day America officially became a police state. The depressing thing is that these morons go home and watch Fox news and sit around telling each other what brave, patriotic heroes they are. Btw, anyone know what “Rey” was referring to with the “remember 20” comment?

  • Micheal DeRosa Sr., Rey Hernandez and the rest of their New York Police Department fraternity don’t know what the law is and they don’t care. They claim to be enforcers of the law, but here they are talking shop about using violence against the Occupy protesters. The First Amendment of the Constitution of the United States makes ‘savagery’ or other oppression against protesters illegal. Wearing a uniform, carrying a gun and an eagerness to use savagery will make people fear them, as the Nazis also proved, and people will certainly not respect these police, much less love them. And like the Nazis, they will claim moral and ethical inferiority on their part by saying they were only following orders. Any people with that problem do not belong in law enforcement.

  • why does he have to be white?

  • When you’re down and out/
    When you’re on the street/
    When evening falls so hard/
    I will comfort you.

–even you can be forgiven, if you only ask to be.

  • I just want to point out that this page appears very fake.

    • It may look fake at first blush since the account was created recently and seems to only have one status update, but look at all the photos. There are pics of the guy in his NYPD uniform, and pics of the same guy with his family (who are they? actors?) There are pics of him on vacation, childhood photos from elementary school, etc. Plus the friends who are tagged in his cop photos all have real looking profiles.

And if you’ve ever been to a NYC Occupy event or seen the way the cops act on the news (or user uploaded photos & videos, never mind the scant news coverage), it shouldn’t come as a shock to you that a member of the NYPD would write something like this.

    • Yes it does…

  • Use this link to contact NYPD if you want to only fill out a contact form. No clue who you would want to talk to if you called?
