BREAKING NEWS: Barricades Come Down At Zuccotti Park As NYCLU Threatens Legal Action

Author: January 10, 2012 10:16 pm

On New Years Eve, Occupy protesters rushed over the barricades to retake Zuccotti Park. Police then arrested them and took it back. It was a short lived victory but tonight, protesters are streaming back into the park.

The NYPD is, at this very moment, allowing protesters to cross the barricades. Why? Because the NYCLU is threatening to take legal action if police do not back down.

This is all according to Michael Moore, who tweeted the following as reported by OccupyMarines:

“Police barricades have come down at Zuccotti Park after NYCLU threatens legal action. Occupiers returning as I type this. 200 already there!”

A wonderful victory for Occupy Wall Street. Civil rights win.
