CNN Contributor Says She Would Urinate On Dead Afghans, Comments Too Extreme For Rush Limbaugh (AUDIO)

International outrage stemming from a video showing US Marines urinating on the dead bodies of dead Afghan Taliban fighters has swept the airwaves and the internet. US leadership, Pentagon officials, Generals, and foreign policy experts have all condemned the video. But not everyone is against what these Marines did. Some, like CNN contributor and radio host Dana Loesch, applauded it.

During the January 12th edition of The Dana Show on KTFK based in St. Louis, host Dana Loesch, who also contributes to CNN, complained about the outrage and then declared that she would have urinated on the dead bodies too.

“Can someone explain to me if there’s supposed to be a scandal that someone pees on the corpse of a Taliban fighter? Someone who was — as part of an organization murdered over 3,000Americans? I’d drop trou and do it, too. That’s me, though. I want a million cool points for these guys. Is that harsh to say? Come on, people. This is a war.”

Here’s the audio:

CNN Contributor On Marines Urinating On Dead Bodies: “Supposed To Be A Scandal”? “I’d Drop Trou And Do It Too” from Media Matters on Vimeo.

Her comments are outrageous, extreme, and should get her fired. In fact, Loesch’s comments are so extreme that even Rush Limbaugh won’t defend her. During his radio show, Limbaugh called the actions of the Marines indefensible and admitted that they violated the rules of war (not to mention human decency).

“Well, there’s a video, nobody knows how old it is, of some U.S. Marines urinating on the bodies of Taliban combatants in Afghanistan. Peed on them. And of course it’s Marines. It violated the rules. There’s no defense of this. The overreaction of this is nuts, but still it happened.”

When Rush Limbaugh is a voice of reason, you’ve gone over the edge. Degrading a dead body is not defensible and CNN and KTFK should fire Loesch. It’s just the right thing to do.

Celebrating the desecration of corpses? Wanting to emulate that behavior? What next? Dana Loesch is trying to outdo Ann Coulter, and Ann Coulter is trying to outdo Dana Loesch. Each one is more craven than the other. Sick sisters, without a sub-atomic particle of compassion or sense between them.

Not any one of us americans… that have not gone to battle have the right to judge these marines! If you have never been to war then you know nothing about this issue! These evil taliban soldiers may have just blown up their fellow american soldiers and do not deserve any type of respect! It is easy to sit in judgement from the comforts of your home, but these are our young men and women out there trying to stay alive every day! Let us not forget that any one of them corpses would not hesitate to desecrate our soldiers. Remember when they lit a dead american on fire for all of the world to see? We should be supporting our military REGARDLESS! I have two brothers that have gone to war, in Viet Nam and the other Desert Storm and all I know is that they will NEVER be the same again after going to battle! We should all save our judgement and try to put ourselves in their shoes instead of just sitting in judgement! They could be fake photos for all we know, but even if they are not…..we were not there and have NO right to trash the very people that make it so that you have the right to get on here and complain (about those very same sodliers) that make those freedoms possible! Just saying!!

You are correct that it is easy to criticize while we sit on our butts. However. My uncle was a marine in Korea and was a tank commander in the army in Vietnam for two tours and he would never have done such a thing. It is important for our brave service men and women to remember that the next one of them that is captured or killed will be treated with at least the same manner of treatment as they exhibit and it would be a real tragedy to see our own people treated this way. We are Americans not savages.

I also wish to say thank you to your brothers that served in battle. It is a terrible and stressful situation and I respect their service. You go, Grandma!

I don’t know about you, but I was taught to have respect for the dead — and incidentally, I’m a young, agnostic, liberal. So I hardly see what excuse you and these Marines have.

We’re supposed to be better than the enemy, yet you’d rather not show it.

I don’t know which would offend the Afghans more, the urinating or Dana emptying her taco! Neither would have been a good sight. I really cannot stand these tough talking conservatards that have never served in the military.

Sounds like someone is channeling her inner Ann Coulter.

Rush Limbaugh, the voice of reason?! Yep, now you know it truly is the year of the apocalypse.

Loesch is given air time on CNN regularly and was deeply involved in the baseless smear campaign of the two University of Missouri-Kansas City teachers Judy Ancel and Don Giljum. She is a shameless disgusting liar and works closely with Andrew Breitbart. And as for her “I’d drop trou and do it too…” line I don’t remember every seeing her skinny chicken hawk ass on the yellow footprints let alone in Afghanistan.

I had CNN on as I read this…the channel has been switched and will not be turned back on until CNN addresses this issue. It is outrageous to have people voice such vile comments. How did she feel when our dead soldiers were dragged through the streets years ago???? The enemy is only separated by a border. These are human beings defending their beliefs as vehemently as we defend ours. They go to war and many are killed fighting for what they believe on both sides of the conflict. To urinate on a corpse is a reflection of the lack of morals on the offensive party. It’s a national disgrace. Pity that this woman does not know the basic rule of human decency.

She says that progressives are coming out against the Marines pissing on the Taliban. I’m a Marine and I wouldn’t have pissed on them after killing them, I’d have set up a secure perimeter or continued with the mission. I hate when people that know nothing try to make an issue political. This incident will be dealt with by the Marine Corps, this is one thing I can assure you. About the time she was losing her virginity in high school I was learning how to kill people in Parris Island so who do you believe?
