Love the President or hate him (or more likely, somewhere in between), you have to appreciate a man, who while under constant attack from the right and the left, maintains a sense of humor.
Last night was the televised, star-studded celebration of Betty White’s 90th birthday party. President Obama couldn’t make the event, but sent his wishes in a video.

Dear Betty,
You look so fantastic and full of energy. I can’t believe you’re 90 years old. In fact, I don’t believe it. That’s why I’m writing to ask if you will be willing to produce a copy of your long form birth certificate. Thanks, and Happy Birthday, no matter how old you are.

“Love the President or hate him (or more likely, somewhere in between)”. I resent the writer’s assumption, as I, like most of us who support him, do love and admire him. There is no in-between. He overcame all the odds to become our President, thus making history. And considering the mess he inherited and the barrage of constant attacks from the right he endures, he will continue to receive my support and admiration! Go President Obama and Go Betty White!! Two of America’s best. Even if Wendy Gittleson is a fence sitter, she need not inject her opinion, especially on an otherwise happy and celebratory occasion!
What’s not to love about a fine young President like Barack Obama?

President Obama is indeed one of the best presidents that the US has had. Even with constant opposition, he has made great strides to guide this country back on course after being run in the ditch. And this clip, I just adore it. He’s a big enough person to take an absolutely absurd accusation and turn it into a joke. Thank you, Mr. President. and a Very Happy Birthday to Betty White, who I adore.
