The “Quitta from Wasilla,” half-term Governor Sarah Palin, is almost infamous for her factually inaccurate statements. In the past, she’s made some pretty outrageous assertions, like when she claimed that Paul Revere rode to warn the British.
Palin took her anti-intellectualism to a new level yesterday, when she stated that she doesn’t believe that the economy is improving, because the employment numbers are inaccurate. She also claimed that the department of labor and the media are lying about the employment numbers to help get President Obama re-elected.

First she attacked science and history, now she’s going after math. What’s next, geography? Oh wait, she already tackled that subject when she claimed that she was qualified to be Vice-President because Russia is in such close proximity to Alaska, as if being able to see it from an island in the middle of the Bering Strait could possibly give any kind of insight to Russian politics. Many people think that Sarah Palin is politically inept, but I’m starting to think that’s not the case. She knows what she’s doing, politically, it’s high school courses which she has not yet managed to master. Maybe it’s time someone got her a tutor, for all our sakes.
If these are the people representing the opposition, then President Obama and the labor department wouldn’t need to manipulate the employment numbers. The GOP and people like Sarah Palin are working hard on their own to make sure that Obama looks like the sanest candidate in the Presidential race.

I agree that Palin is a nightmare already happening. But she is basically right that the number are being manipulated. Who ever is President will have the media in their pocket. And that’s what we are seeing. The economy isn’t doing as well as Obama wants you to believe. Not by a long shot. The suicide rate is much much higher than it was 5 years ago. Nearly the same number of people are out of jobs. One reason why Food Stamps have risen so high just in 4 years. The increase in jobs has been at low wages. Therefore those jobs are good for poor people and that’s all. Obama has done NOTHING good for the middle class. This guy needs to be gone. NEXT!
Please stop hating Sarah Palin. It’s not HER fault that she’s got the same intelligence as a box-full of rough granite pebbles, and a grating voice to match. It’s not HER fault that America doesn’t require a psych test for EVERYONE running for public office, which would have kept Palin from ever holding any kind of office, including dogcatcher. It’s not HER fault that her signature combination of insupportable arrogance and impenetrable stupidity made her a natural for the Fox News talking head team, since she fit in perfectly with the others and didn’t threaten ANY of their lack-of-intelligence levels. It’s not HER fault that there are people so incredibly dense, so amazingly gullible, and so intractably ignorant that they could actually listen to her babble in ANY public forum and cheer at the end, instead of vomiting uncontrollably, then descending on her en mass to give her what she TRULY deserves from the American people. And it’s not HER fault that she believes the carefully built-up hype lavished upon her by the most fringe of the fringe Republican’ts, who I’m given to understand claimed that they believed she was suitable as the emergency replacement for President of the United States. I hope this all explains why I personally believe that it’s not Sarah Palin’s fault that she’s still in the national eye, and still spewing verbal diarrhea into the nation’s collective ears. But, (sigh), I still wish she’d shut the f*ck up.

If she thinks the stats are fake, why can’t she present the “right” ones? She can’t even cook the books herself– they must be REALLY good!
