Rush Limbaugh Calls Woman ‘Slut’ and ‘Prostitute’ For Wanting To Testify About Contraception

I have a confession to make. By Rush Limbaugh’s standards, I am a slut. I am a prostitute, or at least I was. During various times in my life, I have been on the pill. Most recently, it was for medical reasons that had nothing at all to do with birth control. It was medicine. I was fortunate enough to have an insurance policy that covered my prescription. I am no longer so lucky.

As you may recall, two weeks ago, Rep. Darrell Issa (R-CA), held a committee meeting to discuss hormonal birth control, without allowing women to participate.

The woman that was set to testify, but banned from the meeting, was named Sandra Fluke. She is a third year law student at Georgetown University. Here is the video for the testimony that was rejected by Issa:

Misogynist-in-Chief, Rush Limbaugh, called Fluke a “slut” and a “prostitute” for taking the pill. From Think Progress:

LIMBAUGH: What does it say about the college co-ed Susan Fluke [sic] who goes before a congressional committee and essentially says that she must be paid to have sex. What does that make her? It makes her a slut, right? It makes her a prostitute. She wants to be paid to have sex. She’s having so much sex she can’t afford the contraception. She wants you and me and the taxpayers to pay her to have sex.

Audio here:

Limbaugh has had four wives, each more progressively beautiful as his net worth has gone up. I’m not saying that Rush is paying for sex. Actually, yes I am saying that Rush is paying for sex, and I would bet far more than the $50 to $70 a month that insurance companies are investing in a woman’s health. Yes, investing, because hormonal birth control prevents expensive unwanted pregnancies, which are covered by insurance and it can alleviate the need for many medical procedures.

  • Rush Limbaugh’s wifes have never been beautiful by any means. Also, I do not support the types of attacks he made, but Rush Limbaugh is allowed to say what he feels just like any other American. I am sorry, but there are also health risks when it comes to using birth control. That is never pointed out. It may shock you, but there are actually people who use birth control so they can have lots of sex with lots of people and not get pregnant. Not everyone is trying to prevent disease and death when using birth control. I do not know if this girl is promiscuous or not, but if her only risk is having an unwanted child, you do the math.
