Fox News Goes On Offensive Against Fox News Poll Showing Obama Lead (VIDEO)

Author: 10:11 am

Fox News and its parent company News Corp. are one of the largest media conglomerates on the planet, and unquestionably the most manipulative. It’s well known for its conservative leanings and partisan reporting. Over the course of any given day, you can watch them disseminate  their talking points to the loyalest viewers in cable news . It should come as no surprise that the network that hired Sarah Palin and Karl Rove would be vehemently anti-Obama, the Fox News narrative isn’t complicated. It boils down to ‘Mitt good, Obama bad.”

So what does Fox do, when their own poll shows Americans prefer Obama?

Everything they can.

Media Matters has compiled a video showing various Fox hosts and news anchors frantically trying to walk back, talk around, downplay, dismiss, re-interpret and generally deny the findings of a recent Fox News Poll, showing President Obama leading Mitt Romney by seven points.

Watch the video here:

That’s not to say that Fox hasn’t been doing a good job getting their narrative out there. The poll showed that 43% percent of the people who say they’re voting for Romney are doing so, because he’s “Not Obama.” But on a positive note, it seems like the ‘angry, petulant children’ vote won’t be the deciding factor in this election.

Reading all the comments is funny, Fox news, in 2010 Fox tried to open a Canadian news channel Fox North, they applied to the Canadian regulator for a licence the CRTC or Canadian Radio and Television commission, and sadly for FOX they were denied a licence to operate in Canada.
They asked what was the reason they were denied and the CRTC told them in Canada News channels report the news not try and make the news like FOX does and until it simply reports the news like all other news channels, Fox’s request for a operating licence to operate in Canada is denied, and now we have a Canadian version of Fox news its called the Sun News Network, just as biased and pro conservative but so far just reporting the news and they are doing a pretty poor job of it too, but they have their supporters like FOX does so they feel right at home.

I have to chuckel when FOX advertises its the most popular news channel in the country, with almost 2 million viewers, well add up CNN hosts and ya get even more, but then I watch for real news the british news channel BBC world damn its good and compared to Fox and CNN combine a real powerhouse, Fox claims they have over 2 million supporters and viewers BBC has over 368 million world wide one hellava big jump over FOX, and in Britain Rupert Murdochs company channels are very quiet and good little boys after the phone hacking scandal, they dont want to attract anymore unwanted publicity, so British govt doesnt pull all their licences and shut media works down, to bad they couldnt find something like this in America, Id love to see Rupert Murdoch and his flunkie Roger Aisles testify in Congress and see Aisles big fat ass sweating like crazy. so comeone US law makers find some wrong doing for FOX wed love to see theater again in front of committees in congress, paqss the time in this election year.

One thing you guys should know, re your MediaMatters video links: you’re posting a flash (*.swf) file, which on iPhone just appears in emails as this link:

    http://cloudfront.mediamatters.org/static/flash/pl59.swf

Trying to open that takes me to a page asking me which file management app I’d like to use to save it – it doesn’t recognise it as a video. If I open the email itself, I will sometimes get an embedded video, which / in this case – points to:

    http://cloudfront.mediamatters.org/static/video/2012/05/18/fnc-20120518-foxpoll.mov

Is it possible for you to get both links to show up in the emails?
