Stephen Colbert Takes Donald Trump To The Woodshed (VIDEO)
Donald Trump is a supporter of Mitt Romney. He’s also making every effort to re-energize the birther movement. So we all knew it wouldn’t be long until Stephen Colbert chimed in on ‘The Donald.’
During The Colbert Report on Tuesday night, Colbert slammed Trump for once again accusing President Obama of not being born in America. Showing an image of a very orange Donald, Colbert referred to Trump as a “real estate billionaire and basketball with tooth veneers.” Colbert then showed an image of Barack Obama’s 1991 author bio which stated in error that Obama was born in Kenya. Colbert said “everybody’s saying that this was just some kind of clerical error but Trump knows better,” then showed an image of Donald Trump as an orange and a May 25th quote in which Donald stated, “He didn’t know he was running for President, so he told the truth.”

Colbert then demonstrated how Trump is creative with the truth, playing audio of Trump saying that he has a “good relationship with the Blacks.” Colbert went on to play a clip of George Will ripping Trump as a “bloviated ignoramous.” Colbert continued by hilariously poInting out how Romney can’t repudiate Trump and showing a poll that shows Obama leading Romney by 2 points, and playing a clip of Romney saying he needs 50.1% of the vote.
“How is Mitt going to get to that 50.1%,” Colbert wondered. He’s already got the fiscal conservatives and the social conservatives already mixed in. That’s not enough. Now Trump gets him the birthers, but now he has to reach out to the 9/11 Truthers, the alien abductees, the doomsday preppers, the sasquatch hunters, the sasquatches… That’s only 50%, how does he get that tiny sliver? That’s going to be tough. Who represents such a minuscule portion of Americans? Wait, I got it. All Mitt needs are the blacks who like Donald Trump.”

I’m not sure if Trump did a rebuttal with Colbert’s futile attempt to insult him as billionaire with veneers. For all we know, he is probably jumping from one cosmetic dentist to another now to have his sparkly white perfect teeth redone. He could easily buy any studio city dentistry or dental school any time of the day!
