Last Friday, the Wall Street Journal flat-out accused U.S. Attorney General William Holder of inciting racism for political ends. Today, Fox News host Brian Kilmeade made similar charges. What should be of no surprise to anyone who has been paying attention, is that both the WSJ and Fox News, are owned by a single entity, News Corp. And that News Corp. is owned by Rupert Murdoch, a man with a penchant for using his powerful media empire to influence political events.
It’s hardly worth the trouble to repeat the universally-known truth that Fox News is nothing more than a 24 hour right-wing propaganda machine; executives and on-camera ‘personalities’ will of course tell you differently, but like their news reportage, they repeat the same message, nearly word-for-word.
And if you watch the Fox video and read the WSJ article on Holder, you’ll find that both of them are working off the same script, as well. It’s how News Corp. works. One message, sent from several different arms. Suddenly, it seems like a story is everywhere, and it is, even though it’s all the same source.
By next week it will be accepted knowledge in conservative circles, that Eric Holder isn’t investigating charges of fraudulent voter purges, which is one of the things we have a U.S Attorney General for; what you’ll be hearing is that Holder and Obama are riling up minorities, for political ends.
After all, they’re two of the most powerful men in the country, so there can’t be any racism, anymore, right Wall Street Journal?
“The two most powerful men in America are black, two of the last three Secretaries of State were black, numerous corporate CEOs and other executives are black, and minorities of many races now win state-wide elections in states that belonged to the Confederacy, but the AG implies that Jim Crow is on the cusp of a comeback,”
Remember, you heard it here first, so you you’ll know where it came from, when you start hearing it from your conservative pals tomorrow.
