President Obama delivered a rather momentous speech in the Rose Garden earlier this morning regarding immigration reform. President Obama announced his intentions to halt deportations of younger immigrants as part of the Dream Act. But one reporter (an entitled, inexperienced right-wing troll) from Tucker Carlson’s hilariously racist Daily Caller decided to exercise his god-given First Amendment right to interrupt a presidential speech. Carlson will probably award this type of right-wing trollery by teaching the reporter how to tie a bow tie.

As President Obama was attempting to deliver the particulars of this momentous act, Neil Munron of the Daily Caller kept interrupting the President. President Obama, visibly annoyed but still sticking to his script, sternly warned the man-child troll to let him finish before he takes questions.

Nor surprisingly, smarmy and entitled Pee-Wee Herman doll, Tucker Carlson, is doing what he does best in pretending that his news site The Daily Caller is a credible news outlet and is defending the totally classless reporter as though he were some freedom fighter standing up to Stalin.

Tucker Carlson, Editor-in-Chief: “I don’t remember Diane Sawyer scolding her colleague Sam Donaldson for heckling President Reagan. And she shouldn’t have. A reporter’s job is to ask questions and get answers. Our job is to find out what the federal government is up to. Politicians often don’t want to tell us. A good reporter gets the story. We’re proud of Neil Munro.”
Neil Munron, White House Correspondent: “I always go to the White House prepared with questions for our president. I timed the question believing the president was closing his remarks, because naturally I have no intention of interrupting the President of the United States. I know he rarely takes questions before walking away from the podium. When I asked the question as he finished his speech, he turned his back on the many reporters, and walked away while I and at least one other reporter asked questions.”
Unless President Obama decides to stare at birds or break out into yoga at the podium, any reporter with a functioning brain cell should know when the president is finished speaking. Maybe the Daily Caller can enlist Joe “You Lie” Wilson as another intrepid, freedom fighting reporter.
