Last week’s Kentuckiana Pride Festival Parade had a somewhat odd, if not almost refreshingly honest (albeit extremely racist) protester. John King of savethewhitepeople.com protested the parade based on his agenda of saving the white race. From Raw Story:
“I’m here to stand up on behalf of the white race who needs white children, and also everybody in this world who is normal,” he said. “Homosexuality is a perversion that must be stopped because it is effectually a form of birth control on our race.”

King stood on the street with a sign that read: “Take your sodomy to another galaxy.” The other side of the sign read: “Tyler Clemente did the world a favor! Honor in death. He will never bugger my 8 year old son!” Clemente, an 18-year-old Rutgers University student, committed suicide after his roommate secretly recorded him kissing another man and uploaded the video to the Internet.

King’s website is full of paranoia and hate, as you’d expect from any white supremacist. Why, you might ask, are the views of this single crackpot even worth my time? Because his views, while couched in racist lingo, exactly mirror the mainstream Republican agenda, including low taxes, anti-immigration, the elimination of public education, unequal rights for women, people of color and the LGBT.
Personally, I prefer King’s way. Unlike the Tea Party part of the Republican party (which has taken over its body), he doesn’t hide his hate. Many have been saying all along that the objection to gay marriage is about white supremacy as is the objection to birth control. Soon, the Caucasian race will be a minority race. There is nothing they can do to legislate us back in the majority. There is nothing they can do to legislate us back to the 50s (1850s) White people don’t need saving. We just need to enjoy the ride. I’m grabbing some guac and chips, a margarita and learning Spanish.
