Bachmann As VP? Bachmann Says It’s ‘Not Up To Her’ (VIDEO)

Michele Bachmann, the “indoor” Sarah Palin, took to the airwaves to frighten all with the possibility of Mitt Romney actually selecting her as his running-mate. Call it the Mormon and the Moron, but is the carefully programmed multi-millionaire mannequin capable and willing to recreate the political mind-fuck and disaster of 2008? Unlike Palin, Bachmann is more established and, as a former Republican candidate herself, could bring Romney the die-hard tea party voters that Romney so utterly fails to attract. Okay, but Mittens must know that a Bachmann VP spells political suicide. It’s like the political equivalent of choosing Lindsey Lohan to drive a Nascar racecar; it could only result in a firy burning wreck of apocalyptic proportions.
Notwithstanding, Michele Bachmann didn’t rule out the possibility of being vetted for the job of Mitt Romney’s running mate.
“Whoever it is that he chooses to bring in as his V.P., it will be a highly competent person who could step in at a moment’s notice and assume the responsibilities of the White House,” the Minnesota congresswoman said on CNN’s “Piers Morgan Tonight.” (CNN)
If recent history has proven anything, it’s that ‘highly competent people who could step in at a moment’s notice and assume the responsibilities of the White House’ isn’t exactly a pre-requisite. Oh my, that means Bachmann could be VP and staring down the Republican delegation in Tampa with those insane eyes. The Minnesota Congresswoman left it up to the Romney people.
“Well, that’s something for the campaign to answer on,” she said. “That’s not for me to make that decision, and that announcement.” (CNN)
It’s safe to assume that the Romney camp, realizing the sheer uphill battle they have in securing the all-important states of Ohio, Pennsylvania, Michigan, and Colorado, would sooner pick the ghost of Saul Alinksy than Mrs. Bachmann.
