After Willard’s poor reception at the NAACP conference Wednesday, some had thought he would keep his head down for a while, not try to stir up further controversy. But the former Governor of Massachusetts waded right in at a speech given later that day in Hamilton, Montana:
Remind them of this, if they want more stuff from the government tell them to go vote for the other guy
More stuff from the government? Like highways, bridges, shorter lines at the DMV’s office, clean air, food that is safe to eat? That kind of stuff? Romney tries to clarify it by saying that such things are not free, but everyone already knows that, they are paid for with our taxes.
In effect, what Romney is saying is that, if you want your government to provide the services we want from it, we should vote for Obama.
