While speaking at the Seacoast Science Center in Rye NH, the Emmy Award winning host of “Bill Nye the Science Guy” had several choice words on the future of the country and his support of the president, which you can hear here:
Normally keeping personal politics to himself, it is unusual for Bill Nye to actively discuss politics in public. The GOP’s failure to invest in our educational system is of particular concern.
He has been a long proponent of scientific study, and a critic of non-science being portrayed as science. His position has drawn fire from several sources, with some criticizing him as being “kooky” as seen in this interview on CNN:
Regardless, Nye remains a fierce advocate for childhood education and the teaching of science in the classroom, feeling that the only way for the United Stated to advance is through its education of the youth.
His support for the youth is an investment in the future of the United States.
