A Catholic mother of five is under fire for saying that she, a woman who has given birth multiple times, knows more about childbirth than the celibate Pope.

Did I forget to mention that the woman in question was House Minority Leader, Nancy Pelosi (D-CA)?
I’m not sure why I’m surprised that Pelosi would be criticized for her rather obvious comments. She would be lambasted by the right if she rescued a puppy from a fire. However, even if the words weren’t Pelosi’s, male arrogance would have certainly asserted itself, much like it did during the infamous Congressional contraception hearings…no women allowed.
