Mitt Romney has been a complete and utter embarrassment to the United States during his three nation “world” tour these past few days. From insulting England to creating more tension between Israel and Palestinians to refusing to answer questions in Poland, Romney has successfully made an ass out of himself. And his poor performance has caught the eye of Stephen Colbert, who couldn’t wait to make Romney’s trip his top punchline during his show on Tuesday night.

Colbert hammered Romney’s gaffes on foreign soil, saying that Romney “has checked three countries off the list of ’1000 Places to Offend People Before You Die.’”
Colbert then made fun of Mitt’s Olympic dressage horse, and surmised that Romney will choose the horse as his running mate for the 2012 Election.
“There will be no VP announcement until after Refalca is done competing, and that can only mean one thing: Romney has chosen Refalca as his running mate… Folks this is an historic choice, like Sarah Palin. Like Palin, Refalca is female, also doesn’t read newspapers, and has completed the same number of terms as Governor.”
