Homophobic Protest Goes Hilariously Wrong (VIDEO)

Author: 11:15 am

Every once in a while, we see something that not only makes us laugh, but warms our hearts, as well. This video is such an item. It shows a man who went to the General Mills offices in Minnesota to demonstrate his disapproval of their stance on marriage equality. So he’s brought a box of Cheerios to their lawn, to make his statement.

Perhaps out of a sense of embarrassment, the gentlemen disabled embedding his YouTube video…But The Young Turks have a copy, and they did not.

Let’s watch :

It’s funny how quickly your ‘gay panic’ can be forgotten, when there’s really something to panic about. But the video is educational, as well; I had no idea that Cheerios were so staggeringly popular among the LGBT community:

“One out of every eight boxes of cereal in this country is Cheerios. This is really the treat now for the homosexuals. And this is our protest of General Mills advocating same-sex marriages, so we are going to torch some cereal.”

Homophobia- You’re doing it wrong. First of all you don’t buy the product you’re demonstrating against, you’re just encouraging them to make more. And if they make more, “the homosexuals” are going to keep eating it, and they’ll lower their cholesterol! What you and your friends should have done was dress up like like Snap Crackle and Pop, while wearing sandwich boards that read, “Eat Mor Rice Krispies.”
