10 Questions To Ask Your Favorite Conservative

Why is it that when people hoard things, they are a scourge on society and when they hoard money, they are job creators? In fact, aren’t the people that buy things the true job creators?

Both the 10 Commandments and the Seven Deadly Sins have no mention of being gay or having abortions. Greed, though, seems to be a biggie. Why do conservatives seem to get that backwards?

At what point did getting sick become a moral failing?

In what way are people who buy and sell paper making a more significant contribution to society than teachers, nurses, firefighters, police officers, mail carriers, artists, etc.?

When did the right to unlimited profit become greater than the general welfare of the people?

Why don’t people realize that there’s no such thing as a “self made man?” Even the most successful and ethical people can thank their parents, their teachers, their siblings, their employees, their customers, the government, their contractors, etc. Without them, they would be nothing. The unethical might want to work on their apologies.

Why is physical labor less important than sitting behind a desk?

Why should people who inherit their money not pay taxes and people who earn their money be taxed at the highest rate?

At what point did we start judging people based on the size of their checkbook rather than the size of the heart?

How has being a conservative helped you?

If only there was a penalty for companies that shipped jobs overseas. What’s that? A bill was proposed this presidential term that did just that? I wonder why that didn’t get passed….

While I agree with most of the article, I must say that if I mention “Thou Shall not Kill” together with abortion the conservatives are going to claim that it is in the 10 commandments and that I just proved their point. For the religious right, conception starts just seconds after fornicating (another no-no in the bible but we must procreate and then repent). It is incomprehensible to them that there is a window where the embryo is just a cluster of cells or, that there are moments where one must save the life of the mother.

this statement drives me insane. Without personally seeking knowledge the best teacher is useless. Without providing a useful product no customers. Government contractors?!?! ya those $500 hammers help us all so much.
Is your opinion of humanity so low that someone cannot possibly help themselves?
Change and innovation come from those that move beyond the current paradigm if everyone depended on others to succeed we would still believe earth is the center of the universe and is flat.

The point is, is that no one is entirely responsible for their success. They may play a role in it, but they are still the result of a lot of other people’s work. People can move beyond the current paradigm, but not alone. As the saying goes: “If I have seen farther, it is only because I am standing on the shoulders of giants.”

Randi just because you dont believe gays are people doesnt mean that the rest of the world should ignore them and that means educating kids that gays are PEOPLE. Some of my best friends are christian and i overlook that too because they are kind and entertaining. If you dont like whats being taught in school put your kid in another school. You seem to look down your nose on others from a lofty moral high ground. This by the bible..is pride..and God hates it the most. These questions are not presented as the Status quo..but as questions you should ask of those who want it to be the status quo.
And let me tell you something about job vs handout. When i had an allergic reaction that left me brain dead for 4 days and i awoke. My body responded differently. Nerve death caused physical weakness..and it took a year to be able to walk without a walker and to think straight. I get confused easily but its a long process of healing and it lessens the more i use my mind. The officials asked my doctor if i could at least do repetitive motions so that i could work a factory job. He answered in his letter to the govt. “you can train any monkey to make repetitive motions” So I have lived on disability for 7 years..when i felt i could handle it.. i got into school 2 years ago. When i graduate with my bachelors i wont need disability anymore and will be GLAD to be off of it. how would you classify that? did i take a hand out? Am i a lazy entitled whiner? your nomenclature “handout” is offensive and it REALLY lets me know how you view those who need aid. I know thousands like you. Smiles and condescension hidden behind politeness and gentility. “some of my best friends are (gay, black, liberal ,etc)” is one of the most offensive things one can say. Who cares that you bite your tongue and on the surface accept those with whom you are opposed. you might as well say ” i have friends that do things i know are totally wrong and think things that are vile and disturbing but I’m a tolerant person by allowing them to be my friend.” By the way you speak, your liberal friends sound more like pets that you laugh at. You are not a kind person. But you pretend to be one on the internet. You may think you have a soul but i really doubt it. And if you think your opinions of people arent also an insult..then YOU are mistaken.

James, sounds like you got a leg-up rather than a handout. Good on you and your progress to get better and get going with your life. Best of luck with school.

Good questions, one and all, but unfortunately, conservitives are much better at parroting back canned answers than understanding real questions.

The Root Cause of the jobs problem is from three pieces of legislation that led to the globalization of American jobs – where American Citizens are expected to compete with 30 cents per Hour (China), $1 per hour (India), and $2 per hour (Indonesia) to name but a few.

In 1979, President Ronald Reagan removed the regulations on Corporations that required them to be faithful to the American Employee that was faithful to them for 40 years and everyone got fired – and millions of Americans lost jobs they held for 10, 20 and 30 years while also losing their promised retirement income.

In 1993, the North American Free Trade Agreements were signed, and that allowed corporations to move American Service Jobs Away to foreign countries. Many Big Corporations have and continue to eliminate American jobs in the Service Sector (Telemarketing and the I.T. Industry), choosing overseas workers – millions of Americans lost their jobs.

No existing politicians are recognizing the failure of thier globalization of american manufacutring and service sector jobs.

    The Solution
The People must unite and provide direction to the politicians.

Using a massive online voter election system (MOVES), the people can be polled for their challenges and also vote on the best solution for politicians to implement.

However, only as one large united group, can the People Demand that U.S. Politicians In Washington Immediately pass legislation that prohibits the manufacturing of American products outside of America, and also prohibits the hiring of overseas employees.
