Fox Nation Headline Implies Obama Thankful For Embassy Killings (IMAGE & VIDEO)

Here is a headline at Fox Nation today.

For a typical Fox Nation reader/viewer, one who would be euphemistically called a “low-information” voter, the headline’s implication is clear. Since, as low-information voters believe, all Muslims are in a permanent state of Fatwa and since, as they are convinced, our President is himself a Muslim, it would stand to reason that the democratically elected Libyan President, Mohamed Yusuf al-Magariaf, by virtue of having an Islāmic name, would have been behind the deaths at the embassy. It would also stand to reason, according to said low-information voters, that Obama would sympathize with the terrorists, especially since Romney and many on the fringe of the Republican party have accused him of exactly that.

The problem of course, and it is a monumental one, is that these low-information voters are entirely wrong. Obama did call Mohamed Yusuf al-Magariaf to thank him for his support because the leader apologized for the tragedy and offered what must be assumed, are his heartfelt condolences. Not only is he talking the talk, the Libyan government is walking the walk. At this point, they have arrested four of the terrorists.

From CNN:

At least one person (count has since been updated) has been arrested in the killing Tuesday of U.S. Ambassador to Libya Christopher Stevens and three other Americans, the Libyan prime minister said Thursday.

“Three or four are currently being pursued,” Mustafa Abushagur told Christiane Amanpour, anchor of on CNN International’s “Amanpour.” and ABC’s Global Affairs Anchor. He said the arrest was made early in the day in Benghazi and that the person arrested and those being sought are all Libyans.

………

Obama called Libya’s Mohamed Magariaf on Wednesday, thanking the newly elected president of Libya’s parliament for his condolences on the deaths of the Americans.

“The two presidents agreed to work closely over the course of this investigation,” the White House said in a statement. Obama “reaffirmed our support for Libya’s democratic transition, a cause Ambassador Stevens believed in deeply and did so much to advance. He welcomed the election of a new prime minister yesterday to help lead the Libyan government’s efforts to improve security, counter extremism, and advance its democracy.”

If Fox Nation’s readers were to venture beyond the headline, a Fox News video is far less titillating, but it will surely do little to calm a case of Fox News Nation induced Obama Derangement Syndrome.
