An old internet technique used by social media to make a political or social statement is the infamous “Googlebomb,” exploiting the Google algorithm to put a particular subject to the top of the search, even if it does not directly include the term itself. These have happened for terms as varied as “more evil than Satan,” “Litigious Bastards,” and “Talentless Hack” in the past. Now, it seems, a new term had joined these famous Googlebombs.
If you currently go to Google images and enter in “completely wrong” you will, as of 11:12pm on October 9th be greeted with this:
Is this a classic Googlebomb? Is it someone at Google putting in an easter egg? Nobody knows. But the results speak for themselves.
