The number one performer of the Republican Inane Clown Posse, Donald Trump, was back in the news of the weird and self-important. The real estate mogul, pretend presidential candidate, and relentless birther claimed to have an earth-shattering October surprise, but the impact barely even knocked over a lawn chair. In other words, it’s been awhile since the Donald had his orange face on television to remind us all why he’s a chagrined laughingstock.
Trump released this nothing of a scoop in the form of a pre-recorded Youtube video of himself (what else?) sitting at his desk and donning the smug and arrogant jackass look that he so effortlessly has cultivated over the years. Trump offered to earmark $5 million dollars to a charity of Obama’s choosing in exchange of the president releasing his college transcripts and passport application. Yep, nothing to see here.
President Obama is as accustomed to dealing with right-wing fringe loons like Trump as he is Republican obstruction in Congress. Like most of us in the reality-based community, President Obama typically treats these chagrined loons as screaming children who will whine and scream for hours on end in order to get the attention of the parents in an effort to stay up late. Using his renowned self-deprecating sense of humor (yet another quality Republicans lack), the President poked fun at the attention-seeking media whore with much glee.
“This all dates back to when we were growing up together in Kenya. We had constant run-ins on the soccer field. He wasn’t very good and resented it. When we finally moved to America I thought it would be over,” quipped Obama (Daily Dolt).

You would think Trump would’ve learned his lesson after the total humor smack down he received from Obama during the 2011 White House Correspondents’ Dinner. But one can only imagine that thing on his head severely blocks any sensible thoughts from sinking in.
