New Jersey Governor Chris Christie has been praised by many liberals over the past couple of months: When it came to Hurricane Sandy, he was very up-front in praising the president for doing a very good job, and called out Republicans for treating New Jerseyans like “second class citizens.” But we need to remember that Christie treated gay people in New Jersey like “second class citizens” when he vetoed a bill for marriage equality bill. David Pakman and his producer, Louis Motamedi, agree that Christie’s positioning himself for a future election and isn’t really the semi-liberal hero he’s portraying himself to be.
