  • 100 truths.

    And Republicans HATE the truth.

  • What hyperbole?

  • This list would have been a lot better had it dealt with the facts alone, and left the insults and hyperbole out. It’s not like the GOP can’t be laughed at on the facts alone.

And the stuff that was supposed to be funny, really wasn’t, it was jsut childish. Lets leave that for the other side, hmm?

  • “99. Republicans think rape isn’t a crime, but miscarriages are.”

Hey, if you don’t believe in abortion – Don’t have one….

    • But under obamacare, business owners that don’t believe in abortion are forced to pay for the abortions of their employees. As a liberal, I’m guessing that you are pro-gun control. How would you feel if the government required you by law to pay for other people’s guns?

  • These things always start off with a great title, but after reading some of them they make us anti republicans sound worse than the republicans because some are so stupid. If you can’t do more than 50 reasons that make sense, just stick with 50.

8 Sarah Palin is far from an ugly cow. She is dumb as can be, but not ugly. Her dumbness would have been a much better insult than her looks.

38 spell check? is this elementary school? Ripping on someones spelling is something you do when you don’t have anything real to say. There is much real to say.

46 I’m totally down for tourting terrorists.

    48 dumb.

51 Obama is not the first black president! Are you just stupid! He is half white and half black. So that somehow equals the first black president. Ah nooooo! He may be the first bi-racial president, but not that 1st black one. Not that it would care if he was the first black president, but it annoys me because this simply wrong.

56 & 57 You do not have to be a republican to be a christian, and to think that the theory of evolution is beyond stupid and completely wrong! Speak for yourself! Putting us all in the same group that believes nonsense as evolution makes us looks as dumb as Palin. Stop it!.

I didn’t read much after that because it became to stupid. Stick to a top 50, or maybe even 25. It would make you look a whole lot better.

    • “You do not have to be a republican to be a christian, and to think that the theory of evolution is beyond stupid and completely wrong!”

Nicely put, Jo! It’s enough to be an ignorant Fundamentalist that chooses to ignore established scientific fact and cling to a book of collected writings of sheep herders in the Middle East 2000 years ago for their information.

      Hello Jo,
You do realize that you said Obama (ugh) is NOT the first black president, correct? If that is in fact what you think, why did he become our president in the first place? Why does he refer to himself as African-American? Why was his election “historical” to Democrats? Because if he isn’t black, he is just like all other presidents – caucasian. Please get your facts straight before you start criticizing the hard working people in this world.

  • Hey Robert E Lee and Jeff Davis were not traitors! They had every right to secede. And think how much better off the north would be now without the south!!

  • In the US military, all ranks are paid a specific, predetermined amount, regardless of the job you do (there are additional bonuses for certain qualifications, such as Airborne). Everyone is guaranteed a job, free housing, and free healthcare. If you’re enlisted, you also get free food (while on base) and free clothing.

    Sounds pretty socialist to me….

  • Including things like “sarah palin is an ugly cow” (I do not like that person, at all, but that offends me) and “tea parties are for little girls” destroys any merit this piece might otherwise have, regardless of its playful intention.

  • Numbers 2, 3, 6, 9, 14, 23, 24, 27, 29, 32, 35, 36, 37, 38, 42, 46, 47, 49, 50, 52, 53, 57, 58, 63, 64, 65, 70, 72, 74, 83, 88, 96, 98 are totally or mostly correct. The rest are debatable, and I don’t think that the name-calling is necessary (or constructive), though.

HOW TO GET A DEMOCRAT ANGRY. Get them a job & make them give half their earnings to the criminals that illegally cross the borders or to the school yards full of adults playing basketball that are working the system. I wish one of them would write a book, “How to beat the system & laugh at the working people that complain,” or “How to live off other people’s earnings & not be called a pimp.” Promise, I’ll buy the book & stay home and make babies for money too. Why is it if a Democrat doesn’t like something, they make a law against it. Didn’t, Ms USA Pilosi, (If she get another facelift she’ll have a goatee,) say that the illegals should live like all Americans? I worked & put into the system, served my country; I want to live like her. Where should I go for my free plane & pilot?

    • Oh honey Dems all work and pay taxes, and NOBODY gives up 50% to taxes so stop whining. All the anti-abortion zealots ALSO made sure you could not get welfare for more than two kids. What wwere you supposed to do with the third if you had one? Always mystified me…

You live in the best country on earth with almost everything working pretty well for you if you’re lucky TO be working. Your taxes are the lowest they’ve been in decades AND lower than any other highly developed nation. You are free to go where you want, say what you want, and do what you want – government is barely an intrusion EVEN when you have to register your car. If you’re mad because you have to share the planet with other people who are not exactly like yourself? Well – we have to share it with you, so you evened that out just fine. If you want a free plane and pilot (Nancy Pelosi mostly flies commercially) then get yourself elected president – or become the head of a large corporation. Nobody’s getting what you don’t have. Everyone puts in taxes – even undocumented people who never get the benefits. You are in a GREAT place – you have a computer so you can’t be starving. So: chin up! Head high! Eyes bright! You’re an American and living well!!! Stop sniveling. It cheapens everything you’ve said.

      • That was beautiful.

      • Ditto again!! The exaggerations by the (so-called) right are just amazing.

      • Spot on!! Excellent comeback!!

      • Thanks for the compliment. Someone called me NOBODY. That is I am a working person and I do pay 50% of what I make in taxes. Consider that I pay income tax, FICA tax, property tax, gasoline tax, sales tax virtually everything I purchase, excise taxes, and the list goes on, and on and on and on…………… I eventually even pay corporate taxes as by definition as corporations cannot pay taxes. They must first collect the money from their customers before they can pay the tax. If I invest in a corporation and the corporation is successful, the corporation will have to pay tax. Then when the corporation distributes the profits to the shareholders, another tax called capital gains tax is accessed. And finally if I have been fortunate enough to amass some wealth, a death tax is imposed on what I have left. The facts are that when you compare the total income from wages in this country and compare this number to the total taxes collected by state, local, and federal government, you will find that taxes consume well over 50% of all wages.
As for the comment that all democrats pay taxes is as phony as a 3 dollar bill. Is there a group out there such as the democrats that are better at avoiding taxes? How many tax cheats are in the current administrations? (hint: over 40) What political party makes up the majority on Indian reservations or in inner city slums? That’s right, democrats and these two groups don’t pay taxes unless somehow you can twist earned income tax credit (EITC) as paying taxes.

        • Poor you. All those pesky investments and then they make you pay 15% capital gains, you must cry into your champagne every night.

Do you think your cheap trick of adding all your taxes together to make 50% fools anybody (except the mouth breathers at the GOP Convention that eat that crap up?)

Quote: “I pay income tax, FICA tax, property tax, gasoline tax, sales tax virtually everything I purchase, excise taxes, and the list goes on”

Guess what? SO DOES EVERYBODY ELSE. Let’s all not pay taxes and watch the infrastructure collapse, as long as you’re comfy in your bolt hole with your guns and Bible…

      • Amen! I’d be willing to bet that there are more democrats who WORK for a living/ have HONEST jobs, than republicans.

      • LIKE.

What a wonderful and positive outlook. Can’t we all just value what we do have and stop complaining about the things we don’t?

      • Wonderfully put! Thank you very much!

      • Of course the government is barely an intrusion! Psshh, those stupid Republicans, complaining about having to pay their hard-earned money to people who never worked as hard as them…liberals.

    • You’re obviously too thick to get the reasoning behind it, so let me spell it out for you:

If we force corporations to pay illegal immigrants the same as American citizens, and to provide them with the same benefits as American citizens, they suddenly have no incentive to hire illegals. Therefore, the jobs will go to Americans instead of illegal immigrants.

      Get it?

      • Let me see if I can predict the response:

herp derp derp Mexicans takin our jobs herp derp ‘MURICA IS #1 derp also I don’t trust Mexicans because they are brown!

        Yeah, that sounds about right.

      • Liberal logic never ceases to amaze me. Let me show you what will happen:
Let’s say we force businesses to pay illegal aliens the same pay as actual American citizens and provide the same benefits. By doing this, those illegal aliens essentially become citizens, so..
        1) with the promise of equal pay and benefits, illegal immigrants will come flooding into America, looking for work.
        2) these people will work as hard (if not harder) than American citizens because they have more to lose. (Also, we Americans have been born and raised here in the US. We’re not as grateful for opportunities as those illegal aliens are.)
        3. Because there are more illegal immigrants who are willing to work harder than Americans, businesses will want to hire those immigrants instead of American citizens
        4. Therefore, the illegal aliens will take the jobs that American citizens would have taken instead.
5**********. Also, the labor force would increase in size.
        6. This will drive wages down for everyone.
I hope this showed you how your logic is flawed!

    • hahahahahaha! Rick Santorum wants to make sex outside of marriage illegal, does that make him a Democrat?

The $2 an hour that illegals make picking the fruit no one else wants to pick will be spent in an American store. The money made by the 30 jobs my company legally sent to India will never be seen again in the U.S., yet you neglected to mention your anger on that. Ya think maybe that’s where all the tax revenues are going….?

    • Another thing to say that will make a democrat mad:
Our deficit, as of today, is 16.4 trillion dollars. It’s increased an average of 3.87 billion dollars every day Obama was in office.

    • Gee, and I thought it was only us liberal “takers” that wanted free stuff.

  • for a “progressive” or “liberal” list, it sure is sexist:

    27. Tea parties are for little girls.
    8. Sarah Palin is an ugly cow (said to conservative males).

  • #10 – Reagan also increased regulation – contrary to the oft repeated spin of the Liberal Democrats….and is accused of deregulation that was voted on by the Congress serving during Carter’s administration but enacted under Reagan’s……..

    • And Reagan got gun control passed in California too. (Of course, back when he was in favor of gun control, it was to keep guns out of the hands of uppity black people. They kinda forgot that laws apply to everybody.)

  • #2,,,,

The Government did not take from Jesus’ income in every possible way imaginable to force him to heal the sick and feed the poor – he did it as a tenant of his faith, not his subservience to a centralized government’s edict.

    • a tenant of his faith? not a tenet? Teabaggers ALWAYS, in the interest of appearing smart, misuse words. Pompous morons. It’s pretty much how you can identify them. That, the horrific spelling, the willful ignorance, and the hate.

      • and furthermore, LMW, “every possible way imaginable” — hyperbole much??? We want to end Bush tax cuts. Relax. It’s not socialism, not “centralized govt edict”; it’s repealing Bush era tax cuts and returning them to where they were under Clinton. Relax, jeez.

      • Regardless, you understood what he meant, and he was correct. People should not be required by law to be good people. People are to be granted such freedom as to be able to do as they please, so long as they do not actively or intentionally impose upon another’s ability to do so.

        • Sorry, that’s not the basis of a society. There is a strong element of interdependence in a society. People have paid taxes since the beginning of civilization: Jews, Christians, Moslems (as maligned as they are, their religion requires charity), Hindus, bhuddists, and others all require charity as a matter of faith and tax their citizens. What thee republican parry appeals to is selfishness and greed.

        • They shouldn’t? Why not? We refer to the ‘general welfare’ in the Constitution, so it seems reasonable that we use the resources of our society to have the government sustain people in hard times.

Why is the anti-Christian “dog eat dog” kind of society attractive to you? For people who hate evolution, some Christians STILL adore SOCIAL DARWINISM. Since when is it American to let people die int he gutters instead of assuring they have some basics to get them through? When business decides you are a disposable commodity, it’s a jolly good think the rest of us think you’re valuable.

Americans are at their best when they make sure all of us are cared for. Nobody lives on welfare all their lives, but social supports are an expression of a high civilization that has concern for ALL its members.

We think everyone should be able to take care of themselves and their families. So why do we create situations that make it impossible to do so? If private business has no nationalism, surely the nation should!

Otherwise, well – Marie Antoninette and the Czar would be your role models. HIGHLY un-American!

        • Regardless you must have understood what he meant as well, yet this made sense to you?

To invoke the name of Jesus to bolster support for a government that would leave the least fortunate of us to exist in perpetual poverty or die for lack of medical care in the name of what you would call ‘freedom’ defies belief.

To support this platform (as the GOP/tea party does) is not only anti-American, it represents the antithesis of what it means to be human.

A society is only as great as the least of it’s members. Freedom in this country isn’t free, it requires that all pay their fair share towards the common good. It does us no good to be spending $2.1 million a minute on our military if we forget this, because it means we have already been defeated and are indefensible.

        • Uh, so what SHOULD the law do, then, if not force people to be good? I’m serious. Have you spent even five minutes seriously thinking through the implications of that statement?

Since the earliest days of philosophy, people have understood that it is the job of government and laws to lend force to the rules and responsibilities people must observe in order for society to function. That includes a measure of collective solidarity. A society in which 85% of the people died from starvation in a bad year because the grain stores all belonged to a few wealthy landowners who refused to share would quickly die out and fall to other, saner nations. It’s not about socialism, it’s about survival – and it’s also about ‘being good’. Do you honestly believe that the 400 richest families in this country would not happily watch everybody else starve if it meant they got a bigger share of the pie? OF COURSE THEY WOULD! If you do not make laws to correct human greed and stupidity, then human greed and stupidity will destroy civilization.

    • Umm…Jesus had no income.

    • Oh you aren’t being robbed. Your taxes are low, you live in a great country with lots of bounty for you. You pay a pittance compared to low wage workers, and the poor are poor ’cause the rich pocket the money instead of creating jobs. Get over yourself – you are NOT abused in ANY way by government. You ARE abused by business – who decides if you work or don’t? Who shifts the risk onto you and off themselves? Who picks and chooses what you can eat, drink, wear – that’s not government, it’s decisions made by company men and women. Who determines if your city is decimated by a shut down? Who ships jobs overseas to save a few bucks? Who takes away your freedoms at the door – business. You have NO rights in the workplace if GOVERNMENT is not there to keep you safe.

Don’t be another brain-numb silly goose – you live in a great country with few restrictions, lots of freedom, and no control over what you believe from your government. From corporations? Not so much. But stride boldly forward in pride over being an American. And please stop whining. It makes you look cheesy.

      • MAGNIFICENTLY stated, my good friend. Thank you SO much for saying the obvious so clearly and eloquently. If only more people could and did do that!

      • I’m sorry, I just don’t see how a free market economy abuses me. I’m definitely not being abused by Apple, who made my phone, Target or Trader Joes, where I buy many groceries, or any company where I buy my clothes. Businesses don’t decide whether I work or not – I DO. This, essentially, is the basis of liberal thinking. Liberals believe that businesses hate giving out jobs. No, they are perfectly happy to employ people – as long as the people will help progress the company. A skilled person would have businesses calling them up, offering them jobs. Often, if there is more than one business that wants to employ the person, the businesses will have to bid for the person’s employment by of offering better and better contracts. Buy you obviously don’t know this, or else you wouldn’t be complaining. Democrats always say Republicans are complaining when they argue against giving their hard earned money to people who don’t work, but you should probably look at yourselves for a second. What was Occupy Wall Street if not a movement complaining about the false fact that the top 1% of the population control the lower 99%? And unions. All they do is complain that the workers aren’t paid enough, don’t have enough benefits.
Businesses have no control over our lives – None. Why? Because they don’t make the laws. If you’re not happy with a business, you can easily start your own! But who does make the laws? Oh, that’s right. The government. And don’t forget that if you make the government angry, they can search all your files and throw you in jail. Governments control armies. Businesses don’t. Our ever expanding government has MUCH more control over our lives than businesses ever will. Who creates taxes? The government. Who requires you to spend days in jury duty? The government. Who says you can’t do this or that? The government. Who says to businesses, “You have to pay for your workers’ abortions, even if it goes against your beliefs”? The Government! What do businesses do? They offer you options. Goods for leisure and convenience, services like airplane flights, phone, and internet service, these all are provided by businesses. So you tell me. How in the world did you come to the conclusion that BUSINESSES are controlling your lives?

Why on Earth would you think the statement “the rich pocket money instead of making jobs” helps your argument at all? That is not the job of the more fortunate members of society. If someone is unemployed, the wealthy should not have to cover for their lazy asses. If someone has money, it is because they worked for it. Hear that word? WORKED. Why in the world should people who don’t work reap the same benefits that those who work do?

        Point Republicans.

    • Jesus’ income? According to all accounts, Jesus was a roaming, itinerant Rabbi, (the word means ‘Teacher’), who preached and ministered to the poor, sick, and needy in the vicinity of the Sea of Galilee. He did not have an income, per se.

Also, it was Jesus who told the rich man to sell everything he owned and give it to the poor. This, I believe, was in response to the question of how the rich man could guarantee his place in Heaven.

It’s in the Bible. You could look it up.

    • It doesn’t really matter why Jesus did it; Jesus said repeatedly that if you amass earthly wealth, if you don’t give to the poor and do charity work, that you’re doing it wrong. He also said “Render unto Caesar that which is Caesar’s.”

    • So let’s see… how many people have you PERSONALLY escorted to the ER for treatment and paid their medical bills for? Hmmm? What you’re saying – going by the tone in your post – is that given a choice, you would NOT care for the sick, visit the jailed, clothe the naked, feed the hungry, or house the homeless.

A tenet of His faith?? No, He WAS and IS the faith! He said, “inasmuch as you do to the least of these, my brethren, you do also unto me.” So you either have to call Him a liar, call yourself a liar, or stop calling yourself a Christian.

And by the way… Jesus paid taxes. Are you better than Him?

    • More pseudo-pious rubbish to justify ignoring the commandment to compassion.

    • No, they took from the poor to further their own wealth. The poor were oppressed by king Harrod who did not care about petty concerns like the health and welfare of his people. which is why Jesus in constant conflict with the government that later crucified him. Jesus was greatly concerned with the poor and felt that their government was not taking care of them AS IT SHOULD. He disdained the rich, going so far as to say that no rich man would enter the kingdom of heaven. I guess we should go back to the tyranny that Jesus opposed?! Great example there. I am glad you brought up Jesus.

  • Ways to irritate a Democrat:

    1. Francis Belamy also wrote “”[a] democracy like ours cannot afford to throw itself open to the world where every man is a lawmaker, every dull-witted or fanatical immigrant admitted to our citizenship is a bane to the commonwealth; where all classes of society merge insensibly into one another.”

  • You know the economy is suffering when…1.You get a predenied credit card in the mail from Capitol One. 2.CEOs now play mineature golf. 3.Exon-Mobil fires 25 Congressmen. 4.Motel 6′s light is turned off. 5. One picture in only worth 100 words. 6.Lawyers are keeping their hands in their own pockets. 7.Commodity speculators actually use their own money to buy something. 8.Commodity speculators actually buy something. 9.Prices for reduced/free lunches in public schools increase to pay the higher costs of food that farmers are losing money on. 10. You call the crisis hot line, get a call center in Pakistan, tell them you are suicidal, they get all excited and ask if you know how to drive a truck!

    • Did they mention how much the tea bagger is against a fair union wage but the moment they get the upper hand they vote themselves an unnaturally high raise that the workers have to pay for. IE: congress, ceo’s, teaching administrations…

  • Zeke. You are SO misguided in terms of logic. Appreciate your urge to be conciliatory, but “Calling a right wing goon a “sissy” is ONLY “Calling a right-wing goon a “sissy”. It is not inherently anything else, nor does it “mean” anything else. YOU added another meaning to it and equated it to the statement “acknowledging..as acceptable”, which is not necessarily so, just a thought you had. It does not “Legitimize” their transgressions to honestly point them out.

Besides, insulting Republicans is FUN, and it’s EASY, because all you have to do is tell the truth, or quote their own idiotic and untrue statements verbatim, which they consider to be “an unfair attack”. How DARE we point out their stupidity, their hypocrisy, their dishonesty, their basic pathologically narcissistic ground of being. And it isn’t even bigoted or racist to do so because these critters were not born that way. They chose it. And they choose it again with every vote, every dumb-ass illogical or patently untrue statement they make.

Exactly how many years do you think we should be civil, to be subjected to and victimized by their intransigent and disgusting greed-driven ground of being, before we stand up, poke them sharply in the eye (verbally) and let them know we will not tolerate any more of their crap? I think Ghandhi and Martin Luther King were still willing to call a spade a spade, instead of being “nice”. Power and leverage is the only thing Republicans understand or respond to. They equate civility and compromise to cowardice and losing, so why should we decide that civility is the only tool in our kit? It clearly is not effective. Jon Stewart and Bill Maher are effective. Obama is not.

  • We have FDR. They have Joe McCarthy. We have John Kennedy. They have Nixon. We have VP’s like Nobel prize winner Al Gore. They have national jokes like Dan Quayle and Sara Palin. We were right about women’s sufferage, the civil rights act, Watergate and Vietnam. Also, support for gay marriage is now at 51%, higher than when the racial civil rights act was passed in the sixties. And the 49% against it are older people. That means as the years pass, all of these anti-gay republicans will be judged very harshly by history as bigots.

    • You might want to check out who saw that the Civil Rights Bill was enacted. You might be surprised and less one sided.

      • You mean Kennedy, and then after him, Johnson? Democrat Mike Mansfield? Granted, the split on actual voting was not Democrat/Republican, it was Southern/Northern, but the people who set the Civil Rights bill into motion were most certainly liberals.

      • And shortly after that, all the racists jumped to the GOP. You conservatives always ignore that part.

      • Regarding your comment that we should “check out who saw that the Civil Rights Bill was enacted”…

The Civil Rights Act of 1964:
Introduced in the House as H.R. 7152 by Emanuel Celler (D–NY) on June 20, 1963.
Signed into law by President Lyndon B. Johnson(D) on July 2, 1964.

Voting by party and region: (Note: “Southern”, as used in this section, refers to members of Congress from the eleven states that made up the Confederate States of America in the American Civil War. “Northern” refers to members from the other 39 states, regardless of the geographic location of those states.)

        The original House version:

        Southern Democrats: 7–87 (7%–93%)
        Southern Republicans: 0–10 (0%–100%)
        Northern Democrats: 145-9 (94%–6%)
        Northern Republicans: 138-24 (85%–15%)

        The Senate version:

        Southern Democrats: 1–20 (5%–95%)
        Southern Republicans: 0–1 (0%–100%)
        Northern Democrats: 45-1 (98%–2%)
        Northern Republicans: 27-5 (84%–16%)

Shortly thereafter, those “Southern Democrats” started moving to the GOP.

    • And who do the Republicans have to their credit? Let’s see…

      …hmm…

      …uh…

      …oh! They have Eisenhower!

And, since then, nobody. Not a single true statesman of any stature or merit. Damn. That’s pretty sad.

  • I’m a pro life Democrate. But found myself agreeing with the rest. I used to work in an all black community and now I work in an all white community in affluent suburbs. The comments about hate are very true about tea bag ger s and it’s very sad. Their belief is that their tax dollar pays for 96% of the black communities lively hood. Thank You for posting. You are very wise. Bereft of Gods love and compassion for innocent children. But wise in all other matters. Peace and be well, J. L.

    • I have attended a number of Tea Party events and they are anything but what you describe. They are concerned about the size of government and it’s continued encroachment of our liberties. They are not racists as you describe. They are America loving individuals, black, white, yellow & brown. When things get tough for the liberal side, racism and class warfare are their side. I know I attended a rally where Herman Cain spoke very eloquently and I might add without a tele prompter!

      • Oh, give the teleprompter thing a rest. It’s a dumb thing to fixate on–almost every single person who gives speeches professionally uses one. I’m sure many, many Republicans use them (or have another means by which to read their speeches–they’re not saying them by rote, gimme a break).

There was a study that was actually done just before the tea party came into existence–I believe it was done in 2006–and although the researchers were initially looking for something different, they found that strong religious belief and varying degrees of racism WERE accurate predictors of tea party supporters.

      • Herman Cain can speak eloquently all he wants. He groped women, didn’t he? And he has said some absolutely appalling things about those women, while lying through his pearly-whites about even knowing one of his victims.

The Tea Party wants a smaller government for the same reason bank robbers prefer fewer police. We don’t need smaller government. What we need are people in office with integrity. Period.

  • Accusing a right-wing goon of being a “sissy” or “little girl” only serves to acknowledge their notoriously homophobic and misogynistic attitudes as acceptable, and even patriotic, forms of expression. May as well be a right-winger yourself!

  • Obama didnt even know about a mission to kill bin Laden until after he was dead. Obama shot down 10 requests from the CIA to go through with missions to kill him. The Seal Team 6 mission that ended up killing bin Laden was approved by hilliary Clintonn, without Obama’s knowledge b.c the CIA couldnt risk having this attack shot down aswell. Fact.

Reagan was a liberal b4 he became a Republican. Fact

    • Reagan was a liberal *before he met his crazy ass wife*.

    • FACT 1: Republicans will NOT, under any circumstances, acknowledge Obama being responsible for any POSITIVE result, let alone getting Bin Laden.

FACT 2: Republicans will blame Obama for anything BAD that happens, even if it did before he was sworn in office. Ref. TARP and the mortgage collapse.

Hence CONCLUSION: had the commando authorized by Obama to take on Bin Laden failed and crashed as did the one in 1980 to free the Iran hostages, YOU of all people would blame no one else but Obama, the same way you’ve been blaming Carter for the 80′s disasterous raid.

    • Obama DID know about the take down of Bin Laden. He’s the effing President, of course he knew… There’s a photo of him watching the takedown WHILE IT WAS TAKING PLACE. How the hell would he be watching it if he didn’t know about it?

    • I dare you to prove any of your political assertions about Obama with one shred of evidence.

      Just one shred.

Didn’t think so. Conclusion: you just proved those 100 points.

Oh, and by the way, it is history that W said to the nation that he didn’t know where bin Laden was and didn’t care. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4PGmnz5Ow-o Listen to that swagger, that ignorance, the condescension. Then compare it to the fact that Obama went after bin Laden and KILLED the man.

So, your denial of the evidence is an insult to the fact that we live in a reality you have clear disdain for.

      • Sorry, but for those of you who claim Obama killed Osama, he didn’t do shit but sit in his office. Please don’t forget the brave Navy SEALS who actually put their life on the line while our presidents (republican or democrat) sits safely in their office pushing paperwork.

Please don’t forget the brave men and women in our military who constantly put their lives on the line every day so you don’t have to. Please stop giving the president all the credit.

Personally, I wouldn’t vote for anyone running for president that didn’t serve in the military and obama didn’t(can’t argue about that one, sorry). He also wanted to delay checks for the military, I highly doubt you weren’t sitting by the television watching that one while your spouse(husband in my case) was off training at a camp getting ready to deploy to Afghanistan wondering if he was going to be doing it for free!!! You have no idea how that feels and most likely never will. And as a registered Republican, I didn’t have a true problem with Obama until that little incident, now i think he’s a moron. Marines and other military personnel guard and patrol the white house daily, as president, I would have thought twice about cutting the pay of people who I pay to protect me. Just an observation.

So please just remember our actual military personnel who protect a President who actually had a brief thought to cut their paychecks off. How is that benefitting America?

-PROUD Army Wife and former MP

        • I guess, using YOUR own logic, that Osama didn’t kill anyone on 9/11, since he was just sitting at home when it happened, not actually doing it himself.

          That’s YOUR logic.

        • So your husband will only defend his country if the taxpayers are paying him for it. What a patriot…

        • Seal Team 6 would still be trying to frag their officers if The President hadn’t given the order, was your husband dragged from his home and forced to join up? No? Didn’t think so. He signed up and took a pledge to preserve the Constitution and we thank him for it.

Do you see ANY senior members of EITHER party that HAVE served? Of course not. That generation has died or retired. Only Ron Paul actually served the country and (let’s face it) he’s nuts.

Try and remember that in 2000 the Republican draft dodger that hid in the Texas Air National Guard to avoid being shot at in Vietnam attacked the war record of his Democratic opponent, a decorated veteran who earned TWO Purple Hearts and numerous other awards serving UNDER FIRE in Vietnam.

        • Oh please, as a combat veteran and having served in both the Navy and the Army, please just STFU.

Nobody in the military does a GD thing without orders from above, and President Obama is the Commander in Chief. The teams, aka SEALs, are not about to invade a soveriegn nation (Pakistan) on the say so of anyone OTHER than the CiC. SecState has NO military operation authority. Obama was involved top to bottom in that operation and we have the video showing him watching real time video of the mission.

Who was it that threatened to shut down the nation and the military’s paychecks? The REPUBLICANS, while they were holding the nation hostage again, just like they did when Gingrich was speaker of the house.

If you REALLY respect the military, stop spouting the Fox News and GOP lies.

    • Thank you for proving all but one of the above talking points. Thanks, moron.

    • Just because you can spell “Fact” (but not Hillary Clinton), doesn’t make something an actual fact. Republicans always seem to have trouble with this concept. There is a difference between facts and beliefs.

Reagan was indeed a liberal before he was a Republican. In may just be a coincidence that he was also a liberal before he got Alzheimer’s.

    • Fact: Hilary Clinton is not the Commander-in-Chief and cannot approve such a mission.

Fact: Obama has not stopped the drone strikes on individuals in Pakistan the Pakistanis continue to complain about.

Fact: Obama supported the NATO mission that took out Quaddafy, a dictator with known terrorist ties, while the Republicans complained about it after they complained about Obama not doing anything to help the rebels.

  • Actually Obama is a mixed blood mongrel! The only african reference to him, is that he was born in Africa, as to him being American??That is debatable!

  • It is simultaneously sad and funny to see the USian tribe go through their obsolete finger pointing rituals.

Congress gave away their monetary powers in 1913, gave away their national security powers in 1947, and gave away their fiscal powers in 2011. Now they are going for their AIPAC mantra refresher summer camp.

By dividing the voters through the political party system, we can get them to expend their energies in fighting for questions of no importance.

  • Rampaging Manatee

I’m sad some idiot libtard (sorry) wasted 4 hours of his/her life compiling this list.

  • Democrats and Republicans still engaging in the same childish arguments while all around them their country falls to pieces.
    America is doomed!

    • Stop complaining about “childish arguments.” This is politics, and this stuff is important, and it effects peoples’ lives. Name calling and other less than helpful tactics have ALWAYS been a part of the political landscape and always will be. The atmosphere today is NOT demonstrably worse than any other time in history. I dig up some QUITE juicy, mean-spirited quotes from politicians from around the time of the US Civil War, if you like. This whole “a pox of both your houses” meme that’s going around so much these days is a copout to disengage from the political wrangling that’s just a fact of life, and so upsets your delicate sensibilities. Get the fainting couch!

YOU are the one being childish. Projecting much?

  • 101. Shawn is not currently gainfully employed and borrows money from family and friends. He lives in someone’s basement which affords him a lot of free time.

Yeah, you’re “that guy” who doesn’t know when to just give it up. Don’t bother trying to disprove me, you’ve already provided enough evidence to support my theory.

  • kekekeke, I am a republican and I can see why this would anger uptight people :)

    • I would like to anger you better, if this didn’t work. Making Republicans cry is how I get off.

How about this? Let’s say you’re an HR expert working for a corporation, and you interview an applicant. When you ask him if he believes in the company’s goals and methods, he responds thus:

“Oh, no, I hate this company. I think they do terrible work, and I want nothing more than to see them fail and fall to their competitors.”

Do you hire this applicant? No matter what his credentials, I mean. Of course not! It would be a breach of your duty as an HR worker to do so! Well, Republican candidates take pleasure in openly stating how much they hate the Federal government, distrust its motives, denigrate its methods, and want to see it fail. I’m not even going to bother finding a specific quote. Just find ANY quote from some recent Republican primary debate.

For you to vote for a Republican candidate in any election at all is a breach of the duties that accompany your citizenship in this great election. You should be fired from America, along with the rest of your moronic party-mates.

There, did that make you angry? If not, I can certainly try again. And again, and again, and again, and again…

    • My apologies; my typing got ahead of my brain. Where I said the phrase ‘great election’, I of course meant ‘great nation’. Whoopsies.

  • http://home.adelphi.edu/sbloch/deficits.html These are numbers from the Treasury Department . . . If you look you will find that your facts about the 70% tax bracket is true. But look at the deficit when they lowered the top tax bracket.

  • The author of this crap is a moron. It is so FAR easier to upset the crybaby liberals. It’s effort-LESS!

    It’s so very simple.

Just mention personal responsibility. Everything they believe in is in furtherance of avoiding even the vaguest whisper of accountability, even while they push for totalitarian boots crushing everyone’s throats.

    • tellinitlikeitis

      Is that so?

If it was far easier to upset “crybaby liberals” why are you here complaining about them?

    • God's Chosen One

I notice you are crying now, and you only have one thing to say. Go back to anger management, my son.

    • Personal responsibility? You mean like the kind shown by Repuglibagger Joe Walsh who owes over $100,000 in back child support? Baggers are always big on personal responsibility, as long as it’s someone else and not them.

      • Don’t forget republicans are statistically more like to get divorced, cheat on their taxes, and drive jobs overseas.. The GOP is not about personal responsibility, only about personal gain…

  • This guy’s retarded to think that republicans get angry over truth. It’s quite the opposite. Most of those items on the list were just thrown in there as jokes anyways. I mean if a republican gets angry at someone saying “the earth is round” then it’s not a “republican” problem. I’ll give you one thing, though. This list made me angry, but more sad and disappointed in Stephen and some of these commenters. I mean, grow up.

  • Peter Haskett

“22. George W. Bush held hands with the King of Saudi Arabia.” He kissed him too, and on American soil. I guess I’d kiss a guy that paid me billions of dollars too, even if he was the leader of the country that was home to 15 of the 19 9/11 hijackers.

The “Clinton didn’t get Osama” argument to “prove” that it wasn’t actually Bush’s fault… WJC tried and republicans said “he’s wagging the dog… no war for Monica.” Here one of many articles from 1998:

    http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-srv/inatl/longterm/eafricabombing/stories/decision082198.htm

    • Sure, Bush held his hand and kissed his cheek – that’s a fairly common greeting between people and due respect between equals. However, Obama bowed before the Saudi King. In contrast, you’ve no point.

per your linked Washington Post (aka Communist Times, a term from the Vietnam Era and not my own), I can go tit for tat with you on that. Here:

      http://www.nytimes.com/2005/08/17/international/asia/17osama.html
While were at the whole Bush bashing thing… a lot of democrats claim that Bush was a liar who took us to war for his oil buddies…

      Really?

      http://www.snopes.com/politics/war/wmdquotes.asp

Now, how many of those same people are still in power? Not Bush, that’s for sure…

    • If that’s how you feel about bush kissing his cheek, I’m REALLY interested in hearing your take on Obama bowing to him…

Also, if you democrats keep saying that the taxes we pay, you know, the ones you guys keep trying to raise, go into the circle of job creation life, why then did Obama appoint a guy who didn’t pay taxes for not one, but several years – as head of effing treasury. If Obama didn’t know, then that’s his fault for not checking to ensure the people he picked to help run stuff were upstanding and without guilt. If he I’d know, then well… I shouldn’t have to explain that one… Even to deluded people.

I had written a response to this earlier with a link to snopes, pointing out who Clinton knew Osama was a threat, and did nothing. Snopes compiled links and documents from across several years, and snopes is nonpartisan… So they were unbiased in it. Strange how that comment didn’t get posted…

  • OMG, the comments are almost funnier than the post! Y’all just can’t help the reactionary, knee-jerk response, can you?

LMFAO while crying for our country.

  • Where’s item 74? I’m trying to repost and formatted this an proper ordered list – came up one short so I checked your list carefully and #74 is missing.

  • “47. 9/11 happened on George W. Bush’s watch, therefore he did NOT keep America safe.”

Neither did any member of Congress during that time… wasn’t Obama a Senator then? Giving the green light for an assassination isn’t keeping anyone safe either – obviously, there were those SEALS recently killed in the CH-64 crash that insurgents proudly claimed responsibility for.

“49. Separation of church and state is in the Constitution, it’s called the First Amendment.”

Which also claims that we can say as we please provided it doesn’t promote lawlessness. What it doesn’t say is that we have right to say what we want, when or how we want.

“45. Barack Obama ordered the killing of Osama Bin Laden. It took him two and half years to do what Bush couldn’t do in eight”

Which wouldn’t have been necessary had Clinton not passed the opportunity. So, it’s less about the success of the assassination but more about the need for one in the first place. it was the 8 years of info gathering and red-tape cutting of the Bush administration that secured the ability to find the whereabouts. Obama didn’t appoint the administration head that presented the information to Obama.

    “9. The Earth is round.”

A circle is round, the Earth is a sphere.

    “25. Jesus was a liberal.”

Actually, according to the Bible Jesus was a Jew and a carpenter. I didn’t know him personally and the Bible makes no reference to his American political alignment so I’m going to hold off on projecting assumptions. I do know that in the course of American history, political ideological definition and entailment shift every few decades so there’s no possible way that such labels have tangible value, so again I just can’t place that tail on the donkey and also claim to be intelligent.

“72. Labor unions built this country.”

No, a few ship-fulls of penal immigrants did…that had nothing to do with unions. Years later the mob and organized crime that infiltrated the unions for decades can be said to have then built this country – so why so surprised and upset at the current level of corruption? You guys endorsed unions then allowed the mob to control it. Strange, though, to champion labor unions that diligently worked to stop immigration (See also Chinese Exclusion act of 1882)and in many way disenfranchised the labor of immigrants but then turn around and want to pat them on the back.

“4. Jefferson Davis and Robert E. Lee were traitors.”

Sure, if dissent is a traitorous act. Both believed that the Union was wrong and fought to be independent. Sort of reminds me of an earlier war that happened because another group thought they should be independent. Oh, but that wasn’t wrong or traitorous…

But I get the point of your list. You want people to poke and prod Conservatives and smack them with truth. I like that, so in the spirit of this article I present words of wisdom from your fellow representatives.

“It’s the biggest bang for the buck when you do Food Stamps and Unemployment” -Nancy Pelosi

“I don’t worry about the Constitution.” -Rep. Phil Hare (D-IL)

“I love these members, they get up and say, ‘Read the bill.’ What good is reading the bill if it’s a thousand pages and you don’t have two days and two lawyers to find out what it means after you read the bill?” -Rep. John Conyers (D-Mich.)

“He’s married to a white woman. He wants to be white. He wants a colorless society. He has no ethnic pride. He doesn’t want to be black.” Dianne Watson (D – Calif) on Ward Connerly’s interracial marriage.

    • The list works! All your comments proved it! Thanks!

      • Yep… it should irritate anyone to see straw man arguments and history revision. That kind of thing irritates Democrats too and they’re the first and often loudest to whine about it endlessly. I could go on this whole “shut up” argument tirade, but that’s just not my personal style – besides I have a libertarian side to me too; far be it from me to tell you when you shouldn’t put your OTHER foot in your mouth. On the other hand my conservative side is nagging at me to stop because I don’t support affirmative action – I shouldn’t have to help you do it because you appear to be doing fine all on your own.

Aww… chin up bud! There’s always your windowed cubicle to make you feel warm and fuzzy.

        • The Panic Man

You mean like all the lies you told, rightard?

You’ve yet to provide one source to back up all your lies. Provide them or get out and never, ever come back. You are hereby ordered to give evidence or be banished.

          • I have a better idea. Instead of giving you links to prove they’re not lies, why don’t you back your assertion that they are. The thing is, you’ve no interest in the truth because you disagree with anything outside your tiny ideal. If you had an open mind, you’d have looked things up on your own and realized that the two party system is and has been broken and that either current ideology is a manufactured label to lure the public into paying attention to words instead of actions. To Republicans lie? yeah… a lot. So do Democrats. It’s two sides of the same hand buddy… but you’re so caught up in trying to say I’M lying to notice what you’re representatives are doing and not doing. Good job… you’ve failed at life. Incidentally, you can also blow me until my head caves in for speaking to me in such a manner as to imply superiority – I’ll add you to the list of liberals that really don’t champion equality as they like to claim on their platform.

            NEXT!

        • ““47. 9/11 happened on George W. Bush’s watch, therefore he did NOT keep America safe.”

Neither did any member of Congress during that time… wasn’t Obama a Senator then? ”

Uh, no, he wasn’t … that’s pretty easy to check, really, isn’t it? And even if he was (he wasn’t) what was it a single Senator can do …

the Senate creates and passes laws … the President is the Commander in Chief of the armed services (and who the NSA reports to, as all the other intelligence agencies) … it’s one of the President’s responsibilities, protecting our country from attack …

And actually, Bush was warned during his PDB in August that bin Laden was determined to attack on U.S. soil, he got the briefing in Aug while on vacation in Texas, he took it from the guy that delivered it, told the man, “all right son, you covered your ass, you can go now” and went on with his vacation …

There were many, many people who tried to get Bush and his administration to pay attention to the threat of al qada, but they weren’t concerned, in fact … it wasn’t even on their top ten list of things to worry about …

This is all fairly easy to source … Bush was more interested in Iraq than any threat from any Saudi-based terrorist group (they housed in Afganistan, but most of the attackers were from Saudi) ….

Again, this is all pretty easy to check out, and it really seems like a simple cheap shot …

And makes me suspect the thoughtfulness of the rest of your post …

and I should add, Bush called off the hunt for bin Laden (if you remember, he said he wasn’t that concerned about him) and put his resources into Iraq … so no, the intel gathered during the Bush years DID NOT lead to Obama doing what he did …

    • How’s that Kool-aid you’ve been sipping off the right tit of the Faux News zombies?

    • The Earth isn’t a “sphere” either, it’s an “ovoid,” you idiot.

Besides which, it’s a stupid point. Are you saying a ball isn’t round? Is an orange not round? You must be an insufferable person to spend time with. No wonder you’re a Republican – you hate people.

      • Wow. Ovoid is oval shaped and requires a broader base. The earth, technically is an ellipsoid or geoid. It would be behoove you to when pulling technicalities, be technically correct. T answer the question, “is an orange round” a drawing of one is, yes… “round” refers to a two-dimensional object. So, is the earth two dimensional? If you say it’s round, like a circle, then you imply it’s flat. If you say “curved surface” you imply dimension and depth as in a three-dimensional object such as the earth.

I do hate people. I constantly run into many such as yourself, who cannot effectively communicate and get upset because despite what they think they meant, it doesn’t change what was said nor the actual meaning.

        • My hat’s off to you good sir. I’m glad someone has some bloody sense.

        • This is all semantics, and silly ones at that. Round can refer to 2- or 3-dimensional objects. Earth is, technically, an oblate spheroid. And it’s really not even that when you account for the fact that most of the southern hemisphere is fluid and more reactive to lunar tidal forces which ends up making Earth more pear-ish shaped.

Of course, ALL of these effects are at the less than 1% level! That is, shrink Earth down to the size of a bowling ball and it is smoother and more spherical than that.

    • Actually, Shawn, President Bush received intelligence in early August of 2001 that bin Laden had a plan to highjack planes in a plan to attack America.

“‘It is widely known that we had information that bin Laden wanted to attack the United States or United States interests abroad,’Ari Fleischer, the president’s press secretary, said…. ‘The president was also provided information about bin Laden wanting to engage in hijacking in the traditional pre-9/11 sense, not for the use of suicide bombing, not for the use of an airplane as a missile.’”

      Source: http://www.nytimes.com/2002/05/16/us/bush-was-warned-bin-laden-wanted-to-hijack-planes.html

      • Yeah, I don’t defend everything he did nor do I claim he didn’t have some idea, but if there w no way to link him to any of the setup in the attacks, a threat is harmless until acted upon. Ghats what makes them difficult. Should we act based on fears? That’s what the entire counter-argument to Iraq was by the left…. We feared WMDs so we went in, but that was wrong. Now you’re implying that we should have feared a terrorist attack and acted on it. So, which is it?

        • technically, you ARE defending Bush … just sayin’. You defended him above and now only claim to not be defending him when someone points out something that proves counter to your point …

        • i have read only a small amount of the comments on here and i find you all over the place. you remind me of that dipshit teabagger bachmann…you never know when to shut the fuck up.

          • do you really have no life what so ever shawn that you have spent so much time running your mouth on here wastefully as, you have not changed a single person’s opinion of the above list.

    • Apparently You don’t know the Definition of a Liberal….. Look it Up. You Apparently Don’t know Jesus either.

    • Barack Hussein Obama II was not a U.S. Senator in 2001. He was an Illinois State Senator from 1997 to 2004. This probably doesn’t matter to you, as you are still waiting for the birth video and signed affidavits from 100 eye witnesses.

  • Are you sure this isn’t a list of things the DNC doesn’t dwell on the remain stagnant. None of my southern Republican friends dwell on this, they’re too busy looking to work on fixing the problems brought by the Democratic Congress. Oh, and conservative don’t hate illegals unles they need a lawn cut anymore than democrats hate blacks unless they need votes. I seem to recall this once incident in Alabama….where a republican president had teo get the national guard to force a democrat governor to let those kids go to school unharmed…hmmm.

    • I believe you’re referring to JFK, George Wallace — I believe they were both Democrats.

    • and the Civil Rights Act pushed that LBJ signed pushed all the racists out of the Democratic Party, they joined the Republican Party, and the South went from being Democrat to Republican within two election cycles. And as someone who has spent all 32 years on this planet living in the South, I know that the Republican Party is full of racists. Kinda of like how Stormfront openly promotes the Tea Party…

  • If you want to weep read Nixon’s Wikipedia entry. He’d be tarred and feathered as a hand wringing bleed heart liberal today…by DEMOCRATS!!!! AAAAARRRRGGHHH.

  • Just ask one of them a question. They dont have an answer for you and they will just try and change the subject.

  • It doesn’t take much to upset a republican and make them open mouth and insert foot lol. After all, that’s what they’re best at! Their stupidity would be comical if do many didn’t believe it with all their little black hearts.

    • I really hope I’m not the only person that spotted the irony of Kathy’s comment. I mean, making fun of someone and then spelling things wrong at the same time? This is definitely going on the fail blog for sure… (names and all)

      • You’re really quick to point out spelling errors when you don’t have a good reply, aren’t you? Since the d key is next to the s key, maybe she hit the wrong one. You and your comments are the fail blog.

  • Well, You did not drive me crazy!! I am ROTFLMFAO!!! Libturds keep me in stitches!!

    • Republicans scare the crap outta me because they truly believe the crap that comes outta their mouth!!!

      • Yeah, like “Once you earn it and pay taxes on it, you oughta be able to keep it.” Pretty scary stuff, eh?

        • Wait, so what they try and teach in college is wrong? I don’t have to take what I spent years working for and make programs that incentives laziness, like welfare? You mean, the world DOESN’T owe me a living just because of my nationality (in this case American) and vote for democrats. next you’ll tell me that affirmative action is outdated because it doesn’t allow people to achieve on their own merits and promotes inequality.

          • There you go again, generalizing. Welfare as it now exists, is a stop gap for people who have fallen on hard times. You are not allowed to be on the program for more than 2 years. That law was signed by a Democrat, Bill Clinton. But, like a typical Conservative, you have no problems with tax breaks for the wealthy, or corporate welfare, and subsidies even though they are reporting record earnings.

          • Obama achieved on his own merits but you Repuglibaggers can’t accept that fact. Do the words Summa Cum Laude and Editor of the Harvard Law Review ring a bell? To you any African American who has achieved anything in life must have had help. You want a fine example of an affirmative action enhanced black man, look no further than that right wing darling Clarence Thomas.

        • Define “earn” and define “taxes”. Therein are the differences, not the concept itself.

  • Number one could be the beginning and the end if you include that the Socialist who wrote the Pledge was also a pastor and never wrote the words “under God” into his pledge!

  • David Lloyd-Jones

101.) “Mr. Republican” Teddy Roosevelt passed the Pure Food and Drug laws. (As a result stomach cancer, e.g., has dropped montonically ever since as government research found more and more places to implement those laws.)

102.) The cattle and corn industries of Iowa depend on evolution.

103.) The Republican farm program, mostly the work of President Eisenhower and Mormon Prophet Ezra Taft Benson, is the Socialist Party platform of every election from 1880 through 1948.

104.) Government give-aways built the railroads which get the food to market.

105.) America was created by, uh, the Continental Congress.

  • Ruth A. Messick

It’s funny more truthful than not. I just want health care and education like our elected officials get….and retirement benefits like I pay for them!!!!

  • The Platzner Post

It should of read…100 Things You Can Say To Irritate A GOP Teahadist!!!

  • Alyssa Mallozzi

Funny as this was, it was juvenile and only provided me a momentary episode of hilarity. What I would REALLY like, as a few other commenters have mentioned is a list of FACTUAL (NO half-truths or exaggerations) issues that Republicans and Tea Party extremists cannot refute. That would make me very happy and I really think Addicting Info should seriously consider this.

    • jonathan young

um…Alyssa…without checking every single item on the list, I can’t be definitive but most of the stuff on this list is true. Start googling.

      • It’s pretty juvenile, and a lot of it is plain silly: “tea parties are for little girls”. I mean, come on, there’s got to be a better comeback.

      • Yes, because everyone knows if you can find it on Google, then it’s the truth. Same for Wikipedia – so factual Major Universities support the use of it for academic writing. How about this… instead of Googling it, start paying attention. Items entailed in most of this list many of us were alive to experience so there’s no reason to have to Google anything.

  • I don’t really get the point… I’m a conservative and this list didn’t anger me at all.

  • I would add “Don’t take your kids Trick or Treating because it’s socialist”. LOL

  • This is such lazy, straw man argument BS. The only reason a Republican would be enraged is you are putting words in their mouth. And I’m a liberal, by the way.

  • The TEA in TEA party stands for Taxed Enough Already. Maybe you should look it up before condemning a name as stupid. I am just sick of the name calling by liberals! Funny how you can use a known homosexual slur to denounce a group of people and somehow believe that you are tolerant inn any form! If I said that insult at work I would be fired instantly. But yet our supposedly tolerant and well educated liberals politicians use this term regularly and are able to keep their jobs when others have been fired and forced out of office for far less.

As for this misguided and clearly ill-concieved list, why not come up with some real facts. Hypocracy at its best. I have never seen a list of 100 ways to anger a liberal on any conservative site. But we’re the intolerant scum of the earth.

Try coming up with some facts and figures, that are true, instead of your vile hate speach. Because at this point you liberals seem to share a lot of idealism with the KKK. Ask them why they hate black people and all they can answer is “because they’re stupid” This seems to be the only reason any liberals can give for hating the TEA party.

    • So the TEA stands for Taxed Enough Already…. so why are you protesting when tax cuts are in place then?

    • Charly, Charly, Charly–didn’t you read #38?

    • 38. Please use spell check.

    • I have seen similar lists on conservative websites.

    • Taxed enought already??? Not the ones that this people support, big business, big oil and the rich. They do not pay their fair share. And where is all the jobs that the “right” is creating? NOPE, more layoffs for BIGGER profits, more take aways of the middle classes right, retirements, and healthcare. For what bigger profits. And I ASK YO TEABAGGERS, WE IN THE HELL WHERE YOU WHEN BUSHIT WAS CREATING THIS CRAP??? NO WHERE AROUND, You people only have a party, tea that is, because of your racism, hatred, and uneducated, kool-aid drinking, bible thumping(hypocrisy it only suits you when it can be used to your advantage to be christian), and PLAIN STUPIDITY.

    • You haven’t been taxed so little in your life. And if you really study the history of the original Tea Party it was to protest a TAX CUT being given to the British East India Company. It allowed them to compete unfairly with the local businessmen of Boston. Now if you want to look for a source of statements that enrage liberals simply turn on FOX News for a 24 hour tirade of lies and half-truths.

    • Green Collar Joe

      *in, *hypocrisy, *speech

If you have any other Teabagger friends in need of spelling lesssons (and I know you do!), please send them my way!

    • The reason there is hatred towards the TEA party is simply this, LOOK AT WHO SPEAKS ON THEIR BEHALF AND WHO REPRESENTS THEM!!! Ignorant MORONS who talk about this and that but can never come up with a REALISTIC solution to anything they say needs to be fixed. I love them actually, they are destroying the Republican party from within. Its fun to watch!!!

    • It is spelled “hypocrisy”. Teabaggers can’t spell!

    • You do know that the Boston Tea Party was a demonstration against unfair practices by English corporations don’t you. So how come today’s tea party protects the corporations?

  • That is a great list. It shows how you project your psychosis onto others who don’t agree with you. It shows a total lack of historical knowledge and ignorance of current events. I particularly like the way the list uses half truths to mislead the mob, and incite them to violence against others.

    • INCITE? Do you mean as shooting an innocent person and killing six others? Do you mean INCITING as putting targets over peoples faces and districts? WOW! I guess you do know the meaning of incite if that is what you are referring to.

  • This type of list is meant to be humorous.. It provides the opportunity to vent and clear the mind. Some people do take the world and themselves too seriously. Relax and read the list for what it is.. It is NOT meant to be a political dissertation.. I have learned that it is mentally healthy to take a few minutes to laugh and be silly.. Release the frustrations and CHILL! This is my personal opinion and it works for me!

  • Too much trouble. I just say ‘Obama won’.

  • Very amusing…I however must take issue with #28….my children attend private school -they are not being indoctrinated…they attend private school due to the very sorry state of our public schools. Oh, and to many of us God is more than just a particle… Obviously these statements are made to piss republicans off but just as many of us don’t want religion to dictate our laws we also don’t want our beliefs slandered…let’s rise above them, not act just like them.

  • Add to the list that Ronald Reagan sold weapons to a Muslim theocracy against whom we had an arms embargo, and who had taken Americans hostage the previous decade (partially leading to his election), and used the money to fund narcoterrorists… and you’ve got a perfect list!

  • As a conservative, the truth does not upset me. There are many people that are part of the Republican party that do not truly represent the people. That is one of the reasons the Tea Party was born, as a rebellion against the Republicans that do not truly represent the people. People like John McCain and Lindsey Graham are RINOs – Republicans in Name Only. If you truly believe that all Republicans and Tea Party members are stupid, racist, and religious zealots you need to open your mind to the harsh fact: People can have different views of the world and not be evil. Why do liberals preach tolerance and yet have intolerant views of people that disagree with them? Why do you attempt to marginalize people with dissenting views by name calling and insults? Are you unable to actually debate based on facts? What happened to the “We need more civil discourse” after the Tucson shootings? Am I racist because I oppose the policies of President Obama when I also opposed many of the policies of President Bush? Here is another ugly truth: The Democrats created the Tea Party. If they were willing to work in a bipartisan manner (which many Republicans were willing to do) on the healthcare bill, a consensus could have been reached. Why should you be called racist because you oppose a bill that might not be in your best interest. Global warming? Many of the studies that form the basis of Global warming have been debunked for faulty data and attempts to cover up the falsification of data. President Obama wants to protect the environment? How many trips has he taken in that jet? The engines never have a chance to cool down because almost every day he is flying somewhere, usually to campaign somewhere. Oh, where are those “Green” jobs? Aren’t they supposed to rescue the economy? BTW, did President Obama close Gitmo? Didn’t the anti-war President start a new war in Libya?

The news media has turned into a propaganda machine that would make Pravda proud with it’s bias. Yes, even Fox is biased. You should read the media from other countries to realize the cover up and games the media (on both sides) are playing. You are also way off in your estimation of the Tea Party. They are generally well educated and are quite angry about having the fruits of their labor confiscated for the redistribution of wealth. I’m all for the redistribution of wealth through paychecks to people *ABLE* to work. I am supportive of those *UNABLE* to work but, I do not want to support those *UNWILLING* to work. I’d like to not work also but, I want to do that in retirement when I’m old and unable to work. Remember, a smart parasite does not become so greedy as to kill it’s host.

    • David Lloyd-Jones

      For John Galt,

I don’t think anybody is calling the ordinary members of the Tea Party evil. On the other hand there is a good case to be made for the evil of the act of exploiting ignorance and stupidity in others for one’s own gain, which seems to me what, e.g. some prominent pipeline operators do.

Many of the leadership of course are not doing this. Bachmann, for instance, seems to act out of a genuine and touching array of ignorances. She’s obviously an intelligent woman, so she should be seen as a great carrier of goodness, because the wonderful thing about ignorance is that it’s curable.

    • And i ask where was the teabaggers when BUSHIT created this mess? They didnt show up until a black man got in the white house and are now full of racist. Taxed enough already my ass! The rich, big business, and big oil DO NOT PAY THEIR FAIR SHARE! they got a bailout (which they have not repaid), then a tax return, are posting record profits, are lay-off employees, and stealing their pensions, and health benefits. Keep watch FAUX NOOSE, drinking the kool-aid, and being indoctrinated (private schools). Dont forget to drag out your “christian values” that you only show in PUBLIC, then turn around and show what a HYPOCRITE you are in private. TEA=Total Elephant Asses!

      • Maybe everyone should try a grammar, spelling and punctuation check.

      • You think if you oppose President Obama you are a racist? Take a good look at yourself. If you see racism everywhere you look, it’s a good sign you are the racist. It’s actually the black community that has suffered the worst under President Obama. The unemployment rate for African-Americans is 16% compared to the overall unemployment rate of 9%. Why didn’t President Obama go to any black areas on his recent bus tour? Why didn’t he stop in Detroit with it’s massive unemployment? President Obama wants to protect the poor and fight the rich? Who suffers when gasoline is $4/gallon? The rich person or the poor person? How about the increase in food prices? Have you bought any coffee lately? If President Obama hates the rich people so much, why is he vacationing with the millionaires and billionaires in Martha’s Vineyard?

Why do you insist on calling everyone that disagrees with you ‘teabaggers’ and racists? Greedy politicians are trying to tell people they are victims of racism and their only hope is for the government to take care of them. That is how they hope to remain in power. They really don’t care about you. They are just using you for their own benefit. Don’t fall for the lie.

    • 1) Tea party mentality started the day Obama, a black man, won the presidency.
      2) The Dem’s came to the health-care table already capitulating to 70% of Repub’s demands—the bill was merely a warmed over Repub bill from the 90′s. Nobody was even allowed to breath the words “single payer” or “medicare for all”. Which means, they *started* in a bipartisan manner, but the Repub’s wanted even more. That’s not bargaining in good faith.
      3) *None* of the global warming studies has *ever* been debunked or based on falsified data. None. Zero.
      4) All of Obama’s initiatives have never been allowed to take form due to senate filibusters and general congressional idiocy (specifically, they made it illegal for him to close Gitmo).
      5) Yes, liberals are angry with Obama. Mainly because he is NOT liberal.

  • The funny thing is that I barely saw any truths in this little list. And some of the points about the South and the Civil War make absolutely no sense at all. How about instead of just making some BS and lies up, think of actual facts to say about conservatives.

      • I’d be glad too. But I’m only going to go after the bulk, not the little insignificant historical mentions.

First, point 10 says that Reagan raised taxes eleven times; well that may be true because he did adjust the bottom brackets quite a bit, but the top tax rate fell from an unbelievable 70% in 1980 to a more modest 28% by 1988. And the funny thing is, revenue from those making $200,000+ increased from about $19 billion in 1980 to $100 billion in 1988! So with a lower tax rate, the rich actually paid more.

Now, I’m going to group in points 16 and 17. The reason why the Cold War is over and we won is because of Ronald Reagan’s massive defense increase. He literally spent the USSR into oblivion, and I applaud every cent he spent. I, for one, don’t like government spending, except for when it comes to the military. It is absolutely essential to maintain the strongest military force on the planet to make sure our assets, allies, and interests are secured. And maintaing the largest military isn’t cheap. There’s a difference between giving someone a handout that doesn’t deserve it and building an M1A2 Abrams tank to kill the enemy’s of our country that want you and I dead.

I would respond to everything, but I simply don’t have the time to tell all the lies here in this little list.

        • Do you not have the time or the facts to counter the ones presented here? Republicans blindly believe anything their leaders say. They are a bunch of lemmings with no mind of their own.

          • Did you not see the facts I presented? Revenue from the rich INCREASED by a factor of 5 when the tax rate was 28% rather than 70%! This isn’t some bullshit, it’s from the IRS, which doesn’t exactly lie when it comes to their revenue stream.

How about instead of being childish and name calling, debate the real issues. Name calling gets us nowhere and merely points out that I have a liberal cornered because they can’t think of a good argument to counter.

So please, lets stick to the issues instead of being a little pestilent child.

        • I better your a right wing christian too. Kill, kill, kill and screw the poor. Nice christian values you stand for. Not the bible I learned from.

          • Well you’re right about the right wing part, and I guess the Christian part as well, but the “kill, kill, kill and screw the poor” part is way of son. I am for helping the poor, but not with government welfare. I am for helping the poor through the free market system which has been set up to help those in poverty, until the government came along and messed it all up.

Take the minimum wage law. It pretty much says that business MUST discriminate against those in poverty, typically minorities, because they lack the skills and disciplines to hold a job that pays $7.50 an hour. Eliminating minimum wage laws would allow the free market to dictate what an appropriate wage is for certain jobs; which would typically fall well below the minimum wage. Doing so would allow employer’s to hire workers for $2,3,4 an hour. Yes, it’s not a lot of pay, but you can gain working experience and discipline that is necessary to have in order to hold a higher paying job which is necessary to pull oneself out of poverty.

So you see, I am for helping the poor, but the government shouldn’t be the one helping them. It should be us, private citizens and private charities, as well as the free market.

            • (1) What do YOU pay for gas? Much less groceries. You really believe it’s okay to pay a worker less money than the gas it cost them to get to the job and feed himself for the workday?

              (2) If we had a formal apprenticeship program that protected our workers in any way from the abuses that historically go hand in hand with lower wages, then there might – MIGHT – be a reason to allow them.

              (3) Your beliefs are built on the fantasy of private charity. Just the smallest amount of research on your part would reveal the fallacy of such a system. In WHAT existing society do you see private citizens supporting the old, the poor, and the sick substantially enough to ensure even an adequate (not even decent) standard of living? I can tell you, there is no such place. Do you think it can happen here, in the land of “Get a Job”? I don’t.

No way would I vote for anybody who espoused these heartlessly, naively evil ideas.

              • There’s also no such thing as governemet charity. If you force someone to give and they’re not giving of free will, there’s no honor in it and the principle is lost. It promotes classism to have government welfare.

                • A decent basic wage is not WELFARE, Shawn, it’s respect for the time and effort of another human being who is working to fulfill the employer’s objectives. Without that respect, we need welfare in order to ensure a decent standard of living in this country.

            • Since you wish to make such a big deal out of the minimum wage laws. I for one would like to see you actually try and live today on 7.50 a hour. For those who can’t do the math by the time you take everything out of it that’s about 255 dollars a week.

Let’s see you put some budget together. Show me your gas, groceries, child care, Medical,Auto insurance,Rent ,etc. Oh and let’s not forget savings for retirement and collage for your kids.

Try it for a year. Then tell us we should remove the minimum wage laws. Stuart I for one doubt you’ve got it in you to even give it a honest attempt.

        • Why do we have to protect our allies? Isn’t that just a free handout to them?

Oh, and what if I don’t what to see ANY of our enemy’s killed?

As for your increased revenues, are you using constant dollars?

    • Yeah. the truth does hurt dosen’t it? Obvious from the comments.

  • Since the folks on this site love to ask questions, or in this case spew insults, perhaps they’ll love answering a few—100 to be exact! I recently created two quizzes:

    “100 Questions For Conservatives” http://blamethe1st.blogspot.com/2011/08/100-questions-for-conservatives.html

    “100 Questions For Liberals” http://blamethe1st.blogspot.com/2011/08/100-questions-for-liberals.html

Since most here are libtarded moonbats, I suggest taking the Liberals quiz, though feel free to read the Conservative quiz just to know I’m critical of both sides—unlike people on this site.

Each quiz contains questions meant to challenge one’s political beliefs, and come with images, videos, and links to articles. So unless you all are uncomfortable with having your worldviews challenged, feel free to take the quiz. Who knows: you all might end up educating yourselves. ;)

  • Alice Wheeler

As a former Republican, turned Democrat (I saw the light), many of my viewpoints matured and changed. Except for my viewpoint about God. I have been a Christian all of my life, that will NEVER change, and the older I get, the more I appreciate my relationship with my Lord. It bothers me that people have drawn this line between republicans and Democrats, as a line between believers and non-believers. That is not true, and it is unfair to the many Democrats who also believe in God, Allah, whatever their name is for the person they worship. I feel that many of the republican tenets are very anti-Christian, and that they are just using God to hide behind while they do their evil deeds. I respect each person’s right to their own religion, please don’t try to paint me into your box, I have my own, and I am comfortable in it. Thank you!

    • Thank you for your posting. I agree! The only difference between the sheep and the goats (Matt: 35) is who took care of the down and out and who didn’t. As Christians, don’t we want to our government to mirror that? The bottom line – money – is what every Republican issue boils down to. (The “love of money” is considered evil in the Bible!) Democrats, in the end, respect life more, (for example; anti-death penalty, fewer guns, good heath-care and nutrition for all), and are better stewards of the earth and all living things God created for us. (Evolution explains HOW God created. In years to come, the notion that the earth is 6000 years old will be as laughable as the idea that the earth is the center, and the sun revolves around it.) In our services we pray “Lord, have mercy.” over and over. Republicans, however, don’t seem to want to extend that same mercy to others.

      • Well the thing with this new crop of republican candidates is the fact that they are running and making policies based on their religious beliefs.

      • It is the LOVE of money IS THE ROOT of ALL evil!! That is why the Republican Party as a whole–speaking of the politicians–is nothing but a force of evil in this country. Dem politicians are getting just as bad although they do try to protect the less fortunate when possible. Bringing religion into the world of politics is absurd cuz there is no God in this government. It is run by rich people who wouldn’t piss on you if u were on fire! There is nothing Christian about that!

    • Personally, I don’t believe God is a particle. Saying does piss of Christian righties though, hence the reason it made the list.

    • It is a complete fallacy that REPUBLICANS are CHRISTIANS because they are REPUBLICAN. COMPLETE FALLACY. I was raised by a GOD FEARING CHRISTIAN MOM who was ALSO a DEMOCRAT and one of the first women in LA to join a UNION and the ONLY WOMAN in the plant she worked for to do so and she was as far left as they can go. I am also a CHRISTIAN, 2nd, an American and third, a DEM. I believe the list, for the most part, DOES represent the truth but that old saying, ‘the truth hurts’ is quite obvious here.

      • It is simply not possible to be a Christian AND a Republican. They are mutually exclusive philosophies. If any Republican uttered the words “What you do to the least of these you also do to me” he would be drummed out of the party.

  • Hey, check out the comments. These really do work. Cool.

  • Isn’t it amazing, liberals count it a virtue to lie.

  • Not only did a socialist write the Pledge of Allegiance in 1892, but it did NOT contain the words “under God”. That was added in 1954 after bitching from religious groups.

  • Make it 106 ways to really piss off a Republican. I know, I haven’t had one debate me yet without wanting to strangle me.

    101. The great depression started a half dozen years after the largest tax cuts in our countries history.

    102. The lowest two tax rates on rich people in the last century are 25% (great depression) and 15% ( great recession of today). Third lowest tax rate was 28% and caused a recession bad enough for Clinton to get elected.

    103. All of the greatest economic decades came after substantial tax increases. 1920′s The roaring 20′s, 1950′s and 60′s, 1990′s was known as the new economy. The 5th best decade was the 80′s after Reagon raised taxes 6 years in a row.

    104. The highest tax rates in our nations history occured between 1951-1973. The greatest 23 years of economic growth in our history. Not one year during that span was below 3% growth.

    105. Denmark offers 4% unemployment, = median wages/ hour worked to the united states, one of the highest minimum wages in the world at $18.75 an hour, balanced budget, free health care, they pay you to go to college for free, free day care, and all workers get 6 weeks paid vacation. For fun they argue over why they poll as the happiest place to live on planet Earth. We could have that, instead we choose a century low tax rate on ultra wealthy people and an endless empire trying to police the world.

Notice the lowest taxed countries on the planet are all 3rd world. Notice that we used to be the highest taxed country in the world and used to have the highest paid labor in the world. Now with the century low tax rates our laberer’s wages are in freefall. In median wages per capita per hour we are now #12 and falling. All the countries passing us up are all high tax countries. With a 15% tax rate, you give the Koch’s all the incentive they need to cut your coworkers job and make you do double the work at half the pay. Even though they make more than $1 million an hour they will never have enough money to satisfy their desire. They will continue to buy all the politicians they wish and run the country and the tea party has they see fit. Before all the baby boomers have retired they will have caused the 2nd great depression. Wake up tea party, ask yourself why does the tea party support every single issue the Koch brothers want you to support. What is good for them is destructive for you!

    • It is difficult to debate someone who does not use facts or logic and does not understand the definition of words, like fascism. Your comments are only partial truths. Tax rates alone do not dictate the economy’s growth or decline.

      • And where are your facts to dispute this? thought now check the records BUB, tax rates low economy dies, even the great repulicant hero RAYGUN saw this. He cut the riches taxes and the economy started to backside so he raised them!! 4 cuts 11 increase. The real facts are out there, go look, ooopss thats right your from the uneducated right.

      • You are right, it’s not tax rates alone. It’s also using the revenue from those taxes to create jobs and start up government programs and strengthen the infrastructure. Government programs create jobs, and creates all different forms of revenue. The people who were once collecting unemployment suddenly have jobs. The government pays them, yes. But then they take back a portion of that pay in income taxes. Then the people take their new found money in their pockets and buy things. Like groceries, homes, utilities, clothes, a new car, things the government collects a sales tax on. This also creates demand for NON government jobs like retail, service industries, new construction, restaurants, amusement parks, theaters… I mean I’ve only taken high school economics and yet I seem to understand how the system works a lot better than most of our congressmen. Maybe every politician should minor in economics in school.

    • And yet Denmark is known for…. Cheese….So the point in brining up what other countries do is? Call me crazy but I was pretty sure that the Declaration of Independence was one of the things that declared us different from another country? Am I just not understanding that….

      • Since we’re a republic, it’d be perfectly valid to compare Denmark with any of our individual states. The’d stack up pretty well. Population 5.3M, 5.3% unemployment rate – That’s better than 45 out of 50 of our states, and they are known, aside from CHEESE, for having a very high standard of living.

But you’re right; it’s probably pointless to compare our states to any other country. We can’t manage to take good ideas from within our OWN borders, much less from them fur’iners with their fancy accents.

  • Michael Freeman

Yeah, this would be funny, if I hadn’t heard all of this before. Just what you can expect from the Libs, the same ‘ol, same ‘ol. And, the “Sarah Palin is an ugly cow (said to conservative males)” – that is just going to ping my bullshit meter; that is the only thing she is – good looking.

  • Great stuff I think today the title the Republican’s Party has taken the credit for concerved christian, make me wonder have they read the letter God sent to all his children?? Jesus was a simple man a Labor not a corporate rich giant?? Jesus walked the earth healing the sick, feeding the poor. etc. Today Man’s Traditions with all the Fox New etc. networks marketing the rich crap has forgoten the true meeting of fellowship! they are for the rich as you can tell by their fruits!

    • Jesus did heal the sick and care for the poor by calling to the haves to share with the have nots. As a follower of Jesus, I would also encourage others to follow in his lead. Unfortunately, what the welfare programs in this country do is enslave the recipients for the purpose of maintaining power for elite liberals who believe they know how you should live our life better than you do yourself. Jesus asked us to help those who cannot help themselves. We are also told that if you can work and don’t, you get nothing. I encourage you to study your Bible as a whole and not just pick and choose. One example of how liberals enslave is their use of the public schools. They say conservatives hate education. That is a lie. We love education, just not public schools. I should have a choice to use the money set aside for my child’s education at any school I choose. Liberal politicians are always telling us how good the public schools are, and yet none of them send their own children to them.

      • Ummm, okay, I’m game how does providing a helping hand enslave others? Welfare is not a permanent thing (there are laws limiting the amount of time one can receive it and it isn’t all that long)—-and many recipients must work in state programs to receive their benefits.

Most welfare programs also offer an entire slew of educational programs (many private technical schools benefit from this, BTW)–and again, how does helping a poor person enslave them? They are free (actively encouraged, actually) to pursue avenues to “get off” welfare, they are free to vote. They may still go where they please and do as they please.

As for public education, again how is this slavery? Plus, actually you DO get a say in how your child’s school operates: trhough voting for your school board, complaining to your district and participating in the PTA.

Additionally, your total state and property tax dollars individually wouldn’t cover the education for ONE child at a good private school (where tuition rates run upwards of $20K+)—or even fully pay for their education at a public one.

Additionally, the typical Christian school doesn’t pay taxes and DOES get federal assistance for their schools (which, BTW, I disagree with). So in reality, you kinda get your way already.

But you’ve already outed yourself as a kool-aid drinking Faux News devotee, so I’m sure my reasoned, fact based argument will go nowhere with you.

      • The HYPOCRIE right again, private schools to indoctrinate the child, force religion on the children, and find the ones that are gay and “fix” them. You people make me sick with your christian hypocrisy. When science proves that a gene makes gays, gays, what the hell are you going to spew from your mouths then? God created them that way, where is your TOLERANCE THAT THE BIBLE TEACHES? You all just HATE AND HATE AND HATE. Racism, facism, and intolerance, your mantra. And keep the masses uneducated, and closed minded. IDIOT

  • just a thought, why not try real discussion instead of painting caricatures? this is exactly what is wrong with the political discussion these days… somehow we think that snide putdowns constitute real debate and thoughtfulness. thinking with these types of 10 second sound bites (most of which -upon reflection aren’t true)diminshes thoughtful dialog. No one on either side can be accurately reflected by such narrow onesided statements. If we are ever going to solve the challenging issues facing the United States of America it won’t be by name calling or 6second sound bite putdowns. It is too bad that we see this on all of the networks and cable as part of their dialog. These kinds of things speak to intolerance… and isn’t that something we are trying to promote? Lead by example. You really aren’t funny…. this kind of thinking is part of the problem.

    • Because as BONER, MCCONEHEAD and the radical republicant/teabaggers have shown they dont want to have a real discussion!! MY WAY OR THE HIGHWAY, didnt FAUX NOOSE show you this? I thought not. The close mined right is the problem, you can not screw the poor, middle class, and work slobs, and expect them to keep taking it. Expecially when the rich, big business, and big oil, keep getting bailouts,(not repaid) tax refunds (wrong in so many ways), and record profits with out creating 1 job. They are lay-off more people, stealing their pension, and health benefits, and then buying the right to make sure that they can keep doing it. Thats the IDIOT BUSHIT for f’ing up the supreme court we are now screwed because, “corporations are people” GET IT? I thought not.

      • @Tad: 2l;dr. I’m not a fan of the “change their name to something stupid” strategy because it weakens your argument, if you have one. I see a LOT of this on discussion boards and I’m about sick of it tbh.

@Pam: I agree with you 100% when it comes to actual discourse. However, quite a few of these “100 things” are funny to me because I have run across them. I get demonized and people ASSUME immediately that I worship the people who work for the party I support. It is CONSTANTLY made to be about personalities rather than issues, which is just lazy partisanship. Drives me nuts. So I can laugh – a bit ruefully though. It makes me sad when I can’t have a decent talk with somebody with different views because they can’t get past their need to call the President stupid names like “Obummer” and use Fox News talking points reflexively.

  • Corporations aren’t people, they are property. You can’t own people, but corporations are owned.

    • they are now thanks to the idiot BUSHIT’s appointments to the supreme court.

    • Actually, they aren’t property either. They area a legal created entity whose only function is to limit the liability of those who hide behind it from the actual consequences of their actions.

See, it makes all kinds of sense that the part of “personal responsibility” is all for them!

  • Kenneth Stice

Hey I enjoyed and had a good laugh at 90+ of these (especially #44 and #48), but there were a couple I had a problem with.

#8- This is just a rude and low blow thing to say
#34- The Federal Reserve may need some reform but it’s certainly nice to have some institution, even if it’s only semi-public, controlling the nation’s monetary policy.
    #76- just simply isn’t true
#93- Although Joe Barton did state this, the GOP did attack him for this statement, so you can’t say it was the entire party response.
#100- If you’re saying this in a debate with a Republican, you’ll be making the debate pretty immature.

Overall I found this to be a pretty enjoyable article though.

  • #94 IS FUNNY, If the tea baggers knew the alternate meaning when choosing the party name they might have second thought, but IT IS APPROPRIATE.

  • I posted this to my FB wall, with the caveat that I would prefer to omit the name-calling items (“Gross Old Perverts,” etc.). We have enough facts to discredit the Republican agenda; let’s not stoop to their level with playground tactics.

If you expand this, more facts, less taunting, please.

  • Vanessa Callahan

Republicans, especially right wing nutjobs, are impervious to facts. It is as if facts and the truth are a cross and they are vampires. It causes such a violent reaction you think that they will burst into flames.

  • A few things I would like to clarify; ALL humans began their frontier from Africa. Hence, ALL Americans are African-Americans. Therefore, George Washington was the first African-American President of the U.S. …… And ALL human skin is comprised of three colors; red, yellow, and blue. We are all merely different shades of those three colors. Obama is NOT black… Obama is NOT white. Obama is red, yellow, and blue…. Just like me.. Just like you. I think perhaps it’s time we had the Knowledge Party, because BOTH, republicans and democrats have a lot to learn.

  • I do not adhere to either of the Two-Party behemoths.. However, one thing is for certain… Republicans are much funnier… NONE of these are funny… Sorry

  • 61. Federal law trumps state law.

I question this one… CA voters made medical marijuana legal but the DEA still shuts down the dispensaries because they are illegal under federal law. Also some states support Gay Marraige but the Federal Government does not.

  • 100% correct.but you forget that the majority of them are highschool dropouts.

  • Great list! Already shared on FB and twitter, now time to send some emails to the Republicans in my family!

  • Let me preface this by saying I loved about half of this list. Still, some of this is not up to par for what I expect from an entire list of items one may use to crawl under a Republican’s skin and set up shop… you know, those little things called “FACTS”. Suggestion for next list?: Stick to things that are FACTUALLY infuriating to the Right (instead of resorting to opinion and name calling, because it’s too easy to dismiss). I mean, was it THAT important to get to 100!?). #1, 20, 42- those are *GOLD*… #38, 43, 80- those are weak. Not trying to offend; just trying to encourage something even better. Kthanxbai.

    • As someone who is usually upset by what the Republican party is doing, I could not agree more with the statement above. Was it really important to get to 100? Aren’t we adults here? Can’t we have political discussions with each other WITHOUT one of us dissolving into a name calling, mud-slinging buffoon? I was annoyed by reading this list, most of the things on this list I would NEVER say to anyone, especially over something as frivolous as political views.
Here is the thing about facts; they are non-biased provable and tangible information that can not be argued. These things are just rude.
I am also not trying to offend, but I expect something better from a group whose name is states that Republican voters are uneducated. I would re-evaluate who looks stupid here.

      • Ya, meh. The list could also be titled “How to look like a liberal jerk by saying these 100 things”.

Although #8 could be “How to look like a liberal *sexist* jerk by saying this one”. When was the last time you called Rick Santorum an ugly cow?

There’s good stuff in here: “Jesus healed the sick and helped the poor, for free.” mixed in with overblown, uneducated crazy talk stuff cut from the same cloth as Beck, Coulter and Limbaugh. Same uneducated nastiness, just switch out the sides of the coin.

I hope people are reading this before blithely sharing it on social networks ’cause they should know what kind of talk they are signing their names to.

  • Second Amendment Democrat

Actually, I hope people DO take this seriously, even as they laugh, because the vast majority IS true.

    But several points of order:

12: Nixon may have created the EPA, but that institution si at two-edged sword, it can fight for us OR for the corpse…

54: The white race is NOT evolving. Hopefully it IS disappearing, it’s the ONLY way to get of the idiotic racist transmission from father to son. When we’re all tan, who can argue race?

55: Can’t offer evidence, but I ‘believe’ (there’s that troublesome word again, only i KNOW it’s belief, NOT fact. I can be wrong…) that ‘God’ is NON-particle… (Look for my upcoming blog, if I ever finish it, titled “The Church or Zero (Is Nothing Sacred?).” (Note that’s ‘titled,’ not ‘entitled,’ it’s not a Republican)

    76. Inside every Republican is a Klansman AND a Nazi waiting to bloom.

    89. Republicans: Anti-Gay Marriage, Pro-Lesbian sex.
Sorry, I don’t get it. So the Repugs are pro-lesbian sex. So are lesbians.

    (And so am I…)

But all in all, a great job, Stephen.

    • “The white race is NOT evolving. Hopefully it IS disappearing, it’s the ONLY way to get of the idiotic racist transmission from father to son. When we’re all tan, who can argue race?”

Obviously someone hasn’t ever watched an interracial couple mingle with either race’s group. Usually the whites accept and seek out other races until you get into the poorer socio-economic classes or when they’re like 12. Given there are more whites in the mid to upper level socio-economic class, there are less racist whites than racist minorities. I mean, How many white people do you see working at a Chinese restaurant, at a Black owned business, or an Arab run convenience store. On the other hand, if a white owned or run business doesn’t hire enough minorities they get scrutinized. I guess racial nepotism is okay if you’re not white? Yours is the kind of statement that just breeds the kind of reverse racism that perpetuates the problem because in essence you’ve just called for the removal of a race because you don’t like them.

You don’t get the anti-gay marriage anymore than most people. However you do need to compare apples to apples. Marriage is public identification, sex is a private act (if you’re respectful toward others, anyway). Public acts can be limited and monitored because that’s what the government is for, private acts in the home are not things the government should mess with. Want to have sex with a horse while wearing a rubber suit? Great, go ahead – but keep in mind you chose to do it, so the consequences are yours to bear alone and not that of the public arena to defend because you don’t “feel” or “believe” you’re responsible.

I don’t see the difference between gay and lesbian. Why apply separate terms for essentially the same group of people (unless it serves to sound inclusive despite hat’ its just redundant).

Yes, Nixon’s plans are double edged… so were some of Carters… like removal of redlining… and look what happened. At first it might have been great and people who couldn’t afford homes finally got them, but then banks loaned money they knew wouldn’t come back to people that had no business qualifying for a loan… ooops.

Lastly, actually inside every republican is a republican. I’m not sure how you make the similarities of a Conservative group that attempts to legislate traditional values to racists (and if you recall wasn’t it a Republican President that had to send the National Guard to Alabama to stop a Democratic Governor from barring black kids from a desegregated school? And I’m pretty sure that in most cases those old “racist” “white” “republicans” were the ones that hand their hands in desegregation as well as any other minority elevation laws…), or the similarity to a group of nationalistic fascists. I mean, unless I was asleep the past 34 years of my life, I don’t recall making an attempt at herding an entire ethnicity into fireplaces and chemical showers…. you must be talking about a different republican party or something… Oh, you must be referring to the alleged “islamophobia” that the liberal media keeps trying to pin on anyone but themselves.

      • Peter Haskett

“Want to have sex with a horse while wearing a rubber suit? Great, go ahead – but keep in mind you chose to do it, so the consequences are yours to bear alone and not that of the public arena to defend because you don’t “feel” or “believe” you’re responsible.”

You’re wrong again. Bestiality is a common law felony.

        • I didn’t say it wasn’t illegal or that it wasn’t disturbing, I said you can do it and there are consequences. It’s illegal to rape, murder, and steal – but people still do it – and when caught they pay the price for the action.

More to the point and since you want to try and nit pick, I think you need to *seriously* look over your laws (or at least read for comprehension before blurting out someone is wrong). Zoophilia (bestiality) is NOT illegal in 18 states and D.C. It’s only a misdemeanor in 18 states and the Virgin Islands, and a felony in 16 states and Puerto Rico. So, there you have it. My example, though non-specific in location, could be true and doesn’t remove the fact people have the ability to perform gross acts with an animal. it also states the general idea that choices have consequences quite clearly. I’m a Criminal Justice major so what do I know…

          Glad you pushed it?

      • I call BS on your racism bit. Any small, family owned/operated, business can do whatever it wants with respect to hiring. That *includes* white-owned businesses. Affirmative action does not touch them until they become big enough to no longer be considered “small, family-owned/operated”. And there is NO SUCH THING as “reverse racism”.

As for anti-gay marriage, the entire argument from the right has been religious, not legal.

And ending red-lining had NOTHING to do with the financial meltdown. Or rather, if capitalism is so sensitive that the *poor* can bring it to its knees and almost kill it off, what does that say about it as an economic process?!

  • Republicans used to stand for the Republic. Democrats used to stand for the Democracy. Neither stands for much of anything these days. The big issues are not between the two parties anymore. Now it’s the corporations v. the people. If you’re focusing on partisan issues, that’s just what the corporations want us to do. Time to wake up dissolve the appearance of separateness, and come together to reclaim our freedom.

  • SC Thomas-Faler

The Civil War was fought for several reasons: Slavery and states’ rights were 2 of the issues in that particular mess. So, you may want to re-tool that particular number to say it was not fought solely for any one of those issues. In light of Michelle Bachman’s view on slavery, another idea may be to say that “slavery was NOT a good thing and slaveholders were NOT trying to be good Christians by having slaves just so they could save their little pagan souls!”

Guess “Michelle Bachman is a dim-witted twit” could go into the mix as well.

  • Rene Provencher

What is so funny the Tea baggers couldn’t come up with a better name for a party.

    • And yet when I hear DNC, I think D&C – of abortions… BTW, Tea Party was the name, not Tea Bag…. which is a term for the juvenile act of dropping one’s scrotum into the open mouth of someone else, generally asleep. the association is of the opposing force alone so consider that much..

      • Proof that the list works! Thanks for proving it!

        • No problem. Except, I’m only angry at how stupid you guys are. You’re running around guilty of the same childish misinformation and biased double-speak as the group you’re accusing and *you’re* concerned about proving a list? I’m truly less concerned with proving lists and more concerned with actually fixing the problem (Congress) so I do apologize if there were some missteps in my rebuttals, but making priorities clearly isn’t a priority for you – thanks for proving THAT.

  • In all fairness, #69 isn’t technically correct. The owner of Fox, Rupert Murdoch, became an American citizen in 1985 because of the media law that requires US citizenship to own a television station.

    He’s still a douche.

  • Number 27 and 70 are my personal favorites! I will be sharing this on my FB wall, of course.

  • I know I missed many things that should be on this list, but fear not, I’m writing a sequel. Suggestions are welcome, so if you have something to add, post it in this comments section. Thank you. :)

    • Just stick to facts next time. Including things like “Sarah Palin is an ugly cow” is not factual, it’s just mean and childish.

      • again she is ugly, it starts with her f’ed up beliefs, and values, those are UGLY. UGLY starts on the inside. You cant make a silk purse out of a sows ear.

    • Budget cuts and austerity measures passed in 1937 cause the double-dip depression in 1937.

Lincoln Nationalized the railroads and forced them to become continental(coast to coast)

  • Catherine Campbell

Thank you, enjoyed it a lot!. On my desktop.

  • Sherran Lucas

    Love it.

  • Sherran Lucas

Love it, I’m printing it out for all of my friends, posting it in my new cubicle with a window!

  • Just like many liberals, this list is right about 10% of the time, yet illustrates its stupidity 90% of the time.

    • Rene Provencher

Larry, this is more true then false. Like your candidates that are mostly wrong in everything they say. I would say, you are now a minority. Don’t show YOUR stupidity by saying that Jesus didn’t help the poor for free, because he did. Bet you didn’t listen to your drill instructor, or like most GOP’s you didn’t fight for your country!

    • ^^ This must have been posted by a conservative. As usual, everything was backwards.

  • You forgot “The Republicans invented Income Tax in 1863.”

  • You forgot “Republicans invented Income Tax in 1863.”

  • You forgot one, which goes along with #39–

    It’s “Nuclear”, not “Nucular”

  • Marko Freimann

Some of this is childish, some very much true.

It is funny but I hope people do not take this seriously, but some always do.
