Anthony Weiner Gets Public Facebook Apology From Sext Buddy

Author: January 17, 2013 6:25 pm

We’ve just found out that in September, former Congressman, Anthony Weiner, got a surprise on his Facebook page when he posted a photo of himself, his wife, and their son Jordan: an apology from his former sexting partner.

Apparently Anthony Weiner is (was?) still Facebook friends with Lisa Weiss, the Las Vegas blackjack dealer who exchanged eyebrow-raising texts and photos with Weiner and then shared her story with Radar Online.

When Weiner posted the photo of his family on September 9 2012, Weiss commented:

“So great to see you back! Your wife and son are beautiful! Please let me apologize again for any pain I caused your (sic) or the beautiful Huma…it was unintentional…I still think youare (sic) our liberal hero and we need you back in politics!!”

Interesting that she would say that now, because her tone was very different in her original interview with Radar Online.

“He was a dog and didn’t return my messages,” she said. “I discovered that Anthony is a bad man . . . and a liar.”

Really?

As reported by the New York Post, in Weiss’s June 2011 interview with Radar Online, she said that she and Weiner exchanged 220 messages of a sexual nature (who counts their texts???) beginning in August 2010. Weiner’s texts were cringe-worthy and humiliating, and he ended up resigning from Congress at the urging of House Minority Leader, Nancy Pelosi, and other Democratic leaders. We lost an articulate and gifted liberal Congressman.

The “relationship” began when Weiss messaged Weiner on Facebook and said:

“I am trying to find the wonderful anthony weiner who i fell in love with for yelling at those damn repubs the other day! . . . you must friend me!”

Trying to find him why?

A man is responsible for his own actions and Anthony Weiner screwed up. But Lisa Weiss? An apology via Facebook? Tres inappropriate, girlfriend. Okay, I’m gonna go there….it’s TRASHY. Now will you just disappear?

Weiner’s antics came to light when he inadvertently posted a link of a lewd photo of himself on his public Twitter account instead of sending it privately to a Seattle college student, as intended. Weiner initially denied the allegations, but later admitted he had exchanged messages of a sexual nature with several women via online venues and text messages. He never met any of the women in person, he said, and none have come forward claiming otherwise.

The photo of the Weiner family has apparently been taken down and is no longer available.

Weiss’s comment only got one “like.”
