So you know how the War on Women last spring produced a seemingly crazier and crazier response with each passing day? Well, ever since the Kenyan Socialist usurper-in-chief had the gall to get upset  about a bunch of innocent people (mostly children) getting murdered, it seems that not a day goes by where we aren’t subjected to the ravings of some marginal right-wing a-hole–all because their penises never grew.

Right-wingers never seem to understand history (revisionism doesn’t count), and they seem even more blithe toward making ridiculously sensible modifications to reflect the dystopian realities of a gun-obsessed culture. And Republicans, being the mental patient party, seem to be getting to the point where they want to put an AR-15 on the one dollar bill and erect Bushmaster monuments.

Take Tea Party Rep. Ted Yoho (R-FL), for instance. Rep. Yoho (should be Yahoo) interprets the Second Amendment to the point of believing that ordinary citizens should have the same weapons as the military. That can only mean that everybody in the Yoho household will be getting H-Bombs and tanks for Christmas next year.

“On guns, [my constituents] were saying that the sentiment, when you read the Second Amendment, is that the militia had the same equipment as the military to protect them against the tyrannical government. I think it’s more important today than ever, that we uphold our second amendment,” said Rep. Yoho in an interview with The Shark Tank (Think Progress)

Did Yaho not get the memo that muskets and canons were all the military had at the time of the Second Amendment? In fact, the Supreme Court justifiably ruled  that Congress may prohibit citizens from carrying “dangerous and unusual weapons.” I don’t know about you, but I would sooner agree to seeing a nuclear Iran than a nuclear Ted Nugent.
