If you don’t know that line by now, you have my deepest sympathies. If you find a shirt with that quote on it scary, you seriously need to get out more.
Yet, that was the very position Wynand Mullins found himself in when boarding an airplane: His t-shirt, bearing one of the most famous movie quotes not uttered by Arnold Schwarzenegger, alarmed several passengers. A stewardess eventually asked him to remove it! Jeez! It’s not like he was wearing a Holocaust Cloak or something!
In this age of frightened bunnies that used to be human beings, the slightest bit of unusual is enough to make people tremble and that is a sad thing indeed. It’s possible that one of the passengers was a six fingered man who was legitimately afraid for his life but it’s doubtful. Mullins should have told his fellow passengers to calm down and order the MLT; a mutton, lettuce and tomato sandwich. I hear the mutton is nice and lean and the tomato is ripe…
The stewardess didn’t have a replacement for Mullins to wear so he wound up keeping his shirt on and the flight somehow managed to arrive at its destination. I’m sure the fearful passengers were very put out by the whole thing. Some people just need to relax. Will it happen? It’ll take a miracle …
