Fox Host Steve Doocy’s Ugly, Sexist Attack On Hillary Clinton (VIDEO)

Author: February 7, 2013 8:46 am

8886248-standardFox News talking head and wig stand Steve Doocy has said some pretty obnoxious things over the years. He’s proven himself to be sexist, racist and, frankly, idiotic. But he reached a new low Wednesday morning when he quipped about Hillary Clinton:

“Is this the face of presidential ambition? Days after retiring as Secretary of State, somebody has launched a website for her, showing off this glamorous new face. Face lift, perhaps? Well, that’s fueling rumors about a run for president in 2016, but her aides say it’s simply a way for fans and the media to reach her.”

Here’s the video:

During the segment, which covered Clinton’s new website, Fox ran a split-screen of Hillary from the Benghazi hearings and the new website. The text read “Face of ‘Hil 2016′: New Website Glams Up Hillary Clinton.” So far, so good. Gretchen Carlson had noted – an hour before Doocy’s snide remark – that this was Clinton’s “glamorous new look.” But I guess Doocy just couldn’t help himself. After all, it’s a tradition on Fox News to make nasty comments about Mrs. Clinton.
Of course, Doocy had to jump to his own defense, tweeting:

Oh please, Steve! How can a new website have a face lift? And your sexist comment? It’s on video for crying out loud! When will the right ever learn that, in the information age, EVERYthing they say is preserved forever? If they really cared about how they are presenting themselves, they would just stop making comments like this. But you know what they say about leopards and spots…
