Republican North Carolina State Representative Rayne Brown is co-sponsoring a bill to criminalize nipple exposure by women in public, in response to a recent topless protest and women’s rally in Asheville, NC.  Or — as the proposed legislation reads — “external organs of sex and of excretion, including the nipple and any portion of the aureola, or of the human, female breast.”  Brown adds that for some communities, “this is not a laughing matter.”
