Pope Benedict XVI allegedly sought immunity for sex abuse and pedophilia crimes just before resigning.
There’s a meeting scheduled for February 23rd, where the Pope will meet with Italian president, Giorgio Napolitano, to basically “beg” for immunity against potential prosecution for allegations of child sex crimes, the cover-up of such crimes, etc.
David suggests that it’s possible the reason the Pope resigned is because, in the week prior to his resignation, the Vatican was informed that a European government would be issuing an arrest warrant for the Pope for “crimes against humanity” for his sheltering of priests involved in sex crimes against children.
