Rep Gohmert (R-TX) Says Muslim Brotherhood Members In Obama Administration Are Influencing U.S. Decisions (VIDEO)

Teabagger Rep. Louie Gohmert (R-Texas), or Michele Bachmann’s long lost twin brother, is notorious for making totally ridiculous statements on an array of issues. Like he wants to derail immigration reform since he thinks that radical Muslims are pretending to be Hispanics. Indeed, one simply cannot go into a falafel joint without being inundated with middle easterners in sombreros.  And since we already know that the socialist Kenyan is also a radical muslin, it’s only natural for Gohmert to suggest that his advisers are members of Muslim Brotherhood (or is it Hispanic?)

“Thank God for the moderates that don’t approve of what’s being done,” Gohmert said. “But this administration has so many Muslim brotherhood members that have influence that they just are making wrong decisions for America.” (Huff Po)

Indeed, Islam has many irrational adherents and controlling the rise of future Bin Ladens is definitely important. Maybe not arming them to the teeth to fight your proxy war and then walking away might be a good start. But the notion that the president is working is allowing religious extremists to guide his policy is totally batsh*t. After all, the Obama admin has been very hard on the Morsi government of Egypt at times, which is rife with Muslim Brotherhood members in post-Mubarak Egypt.
