Ohio Conservative ‘Christians’ Freak Out Over Homeowner’s Zombie Nativity Scene, Threatens Lawsuit (VIDEO)

Conservative “Christians” in one Ohio town are throwing a hissy fit after a man put up a zombie themed Nativity scene in front of his home.

His neighbors don’t seem to have a problem with it, but after Jason Dixon and his Christmas decor became the subject of a news story on WXIX, the town of Sycamore Township told him to either remove his holiday display or face a lawsuit.

Dixon didn’t have the traditional biblical characters so he used Halloween props as stand-ins. He runs the 13 Rooms of Doom haunted house so that made things so much easier than going out and wasting money on brand new display pieces. In the place of Joseph, Mary, and baby Jesus, Dixon used his zombies instead and dressed them accordingly.

“I wanted a Nativity scene and I worked with what I had,” Dixon told WXIX.

Once he flipped the lights on, it became clear to neighbors just how unusual Dixon’s Nativity scene is. Neighbor Dan Fluker said he really didn’t pay attention to the display until the lights came on, but insists he has no issue with it because everyone has freedom.

Dixon admitted that his dad doesn’t like the display, and claimed that some neighbors aren’t too receptive, but reported that zombie fans absolutely love it and drive to his house to take pictures of it.

“The neighbors don’t like it,” he said. “My father hates it and anything bad that happens he blames it on that. On the average we probably get 30 or 40 cars stop and taking pictures, getting out with their camera. People that follow zombie movies and stuff like that love it.”

The town government, however, also doesn’t like Dixon’s display and has ordered him to take it down because freedom of speech apparently doesn’t exist in Sycamore Township, Ohio.

If Dixon doesn’t follow their order by December 26th, the town has threatened to file a lawsuit against him.

The jack-booted thugs of conservative “Christianity” are once again proving what real tyranny would be like under their rule. If President Obama ordered a person to remove a traditional Nativity scene from their own property, conservatives would be howling about how he is trampling the Constitution and taking away freedom. But they obviously don’t feel the same way when they are the ones actually doing it.

Dixon, of course, thinks town officials are full of shit.

“I’ve lived here for 15 years and I’ve never had a violation of any kind,” he said. “It’s a holiday decoration. I know if it was a real pretty Nativity scene they wouldn’t be saying anything.”

But because his Nativity scene doesn’t conform with what conservatives believe, they want to force him to take the display down or find a way to punish him through costly legal actions. If they were to go to court, the judge should laugh town officials out of the courthouse and dismiss the case without a second thought. After all, the town really has no case here. The display is on Dixon’s property and it isn’t hurting anyone. Only the town officials seem to be butthurt over this.

Personally, I think Dixon is a genius for building a creative display using materials he already had that pisses off religious extremists. In support, perhaps we should all build similar Nativity displays in our own yards as a show of solidarity that we refuse to be bullied by conservative “Christians” who walk around with sticks up their asses thinking that they can decide what people can and can’t do. Dixon has the right to construct any kind of Nativity scene he desires just like conservative “Christians” can. Unlike them, however, at least Dixon placed his display in his own yard and isn’t trying to force it upon public grounds like conservatives do every year. Dixon’s display may offend some, but conservatives offend nearly everyone and violate the Constitution with theirs.
