In Racist Speech Sarah Palin Calls Obama An ‘Overgrown Little Boy’ (VIDEO)

Since Tuesday’s State of the Union Address, Republicans have turned up their usual level of disrespect toward the President to 11. Most notable is Speaker of the House John Boehner going behind the President’s back to invite Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to speak before Congress.

It started during the speech itself, when the Republicans in the gallery applauded when Obama said, “I have no more campaigns to run.”

They were put back in their places when the President retorted, “I know because I won both of them.”

Sarah Palin, a communications major whose communication skills would make a toddler cringe,┬ápiled on the constitutional scholar during the Iowa Freedom Summit by calling him an “overgrown little boy.”

“With all due respect to the office of the Presidency,” of course.

Here’s the video:

Palin and her audience know the true meaning behind the word “boy.” It’s a not-so-subtle racist Jim Crow era dog whistle used to keep black people on an unequal footing. While she may or may not be racist, her speech was certainly an appeal to racists, especially since the topic was immigration.

Truthfully, her little dig is nothing compared to the disrespect toward the office of the Presidency that was shown by John McCain when he chose her to be a heartbeat away from being the leader of the free world.

Unfortunately for the nation, but fortunately for Jon Stewart, Bill Maher, and comedians everywhere, she says she is interested in running for President. If that were to ever happen, pack it in. We’re done as a country.
