Anti-Gay, Starbucks-Hating Pastor James David Manning Finally Admits He’s Tempted By The ‘Gay Lifestyle’ (VIDEO)

Well, it’s about time.

ATLAH World Missionary church preacher, James David Manning, best known for his inflammatory remarks about Starbucks restaurants and near constant anti-gay hate speech, finally admits that he’s tempted by the “gay lifestyle.”

During a recent episode of The Young Turks, Cenk Uygur and Ana Kasparian interviewed Manning on air. During the interview, Manning repeatedly talked about the taste of semen, saying over and over that people think “it tastes good.” Manning has been claiming for months that Starbucks uses semen to flavor their coffee, as part of some secret homosexual agenda only he seems to have any knowledge about.

During the interview,Manning stubbornly insisted that being gay is a choice.

About five minutes into the interview, Uyger asked:

“It seems like, perhaps, if it wasn’t for the teachings of the Bible and the teachings of Moses etc… that you might have been tempted by those choices as well. Is that the case? Have you been tempted?”

Manning replied, without hesitation:

“Oh absolutely. There’s no doubt about it.”

He then went on to talk about the nature of his own same-sex attraction.

“I spent three and a half years in prison, and I tell you I saw a lot of that activity going on in prison. It was just the order of the day.”

He went into detail about the first same-sex marriage he witnessed, which took place in the prison yard, describing an inmate who used to “walk around in tight shorts,” and had dyed his hair red. After explaining how all the other prisoners were jealous after the one wearing the tight shorts got married (including himself, no doubt), Manning said, “so yay, I was tempted.”

Sounds like that tight shorts guy was a real hottie.

“But I never gave in to it.” Manning made sure to add:

Here’s the video:

Someone should tell James David Manning that it’s okay to be gay. You don’t have to live in fear of God.

It’s now more than obvious all the anti-gay rhetoric he spews from his pulpit is a symptom of his own self-loathing and hatred.

He’s not alone. Multiple studies have found that people who are extremely homophobic, like Manning, are living in denial of their own attraction to people of the same sex.

One study, conducted by a team from the University of Rochester, the University of Essex, England, and the University of California in Santa Barbara, documented how ‘intense and visceral fear of homosexuals’ is related to suppressed sexual attraction toward people of the same sex.

“Individuals who identify as straight but in psychological tests show a strong attraction to the same sex may be threatened by gays and lesbians because homosexuals remind them of similar tendencies within themselves,”

Netta Weinstein, a lecturer at the University of Essex and the study’s lead author said in 2012, when the research was first released.

“In many cases these are people who are at war with themselves and they are turning this internal conflict outward,”

study co-author Richard Ryan added.

Here’s a video from University of Rochester Professor Richard Ryan, that explains more about how Homophobia is often ‘Self-Phobia’.

So now we know. James David Manning hates gays because he hates himself.
