Boehner Confesses: I Invited Netanyahu Secretly To Stab President Obama In The Back And Sabotage Peace Talks (VIDEO)

House Speaker John Boehner committed a crime when he invited Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to speak to a joint session of Congress, and now he is freely admitting that he not only did so behind President Obama’s back, he did so to sabotage delicate peace talks with Iran.

During an interview on Fox News Sunday with Chris Wallace, Boehner confessed that he knew the White House wouldn’t appreciate a foreign leader being brought in to wreck diplomatic efforts to keep Iran from developing a nuclear bomb, so he did so in secret to prevent President Obama from nixing the GOP plan to undermine him.

Of course, Boehner denied that he did anything wrong despite the fact that there is a 1799 law still on books known as the Logan Act which forbids unauthorized US citizens from negotiating with foreign leaders. Only the executive branch has that authority.

WALLACE: “Haven’t you taken one of the few bipartisan issues in this country — support for Israel — and turned it into a political football?”

BOEHNER: “I have not. The fact is that we had every right to do what we did. I wanted the prime minister to come here. There’s a serious threat facing the world. And radical Islamic terrorists are not going to go away. And then when it comes to the threat of Iran having a nuclear weapon, these are important messages that the Congress needs to hear and the American people need to hear. And I believe that Prime Minister Netanyahu is the perfect person to deliver the message of how serious this threat is.”

Wallace asked Boehner why he would circumvent the White House like that, and the Republican couldn’t resist confessing. He also accused the Obama Administration of being hostile towards Netanyahu.

“Because I wanted to make sure that there was no interference. There’s no secret here in Washington about the animosity that this White House has for Prime Minister Netanyahu. I frankly didn’t want that getting in the way, quashing what I thought was a real opportunity.”

Boehner also claimed that the American people need to hear Netanyahu demonize the diplomatic talks between the US and Iran. You know, because peace amounts to supporting terrorism in the eyes of Natanyahu and his Republican puppets.

Let’s face it. It’s time for us to re-evaluate our relationship with Israel, and the $3 billion of military aid we provide them every year to commit acts of genocide with. This is a serious breach of US protocol and American law. It’s also seriously troublesome that Republicans have more loyalty to a foreign leader than they do to their own Commander-in-Chief, especially when you consider the fact that the GOP is gleeful about letting Netanyahu speak to Congress when they were actually considering banning President Obama from delivering his State of the Union Address back in November. Clearly, Republicans think Netanyahu is the real President of the United States and that’s a threat to our own autonomy that the American people must not tolerate.
