Rand Paul Promises ‘Blockbuster Exposé’ To Ruin Hillary, Ends Up Begging The Internet For Help (IMAGES)

Republican Presidential Candidate Rand Paul has been predicting a great mysterious Hillary Clinton scandal that would absolutely wreck the former secretary of state’s campaign.

So how’s that going? Well, it turns out that one of the “secret” weapons Paul was going to use against Clinton was merely a new book by former conservative political operative Peter Schweizer called Clinton Cash: The Untold Story of How and Why Foreign Governments and Businesses Helped Make Bill and Hillary Rich.

Schweizer’s book has claimed to be a “blockbuster exposé,” providing a link from the Bill, Hillary & Chelsea Clinton Foundation’s foreign donors to certain favors performed by Clinton’s State Department. There is also an alleged connection between the Clintons’ speaking fees to government favors.

Despite the fact that The New York Times called the book “the most anticipated and feared book of a presidential cycle still in its infancy,” the Clintons aren’t sweating it. The Clinton camp criticized Schweizer for “twisting previously known facts into absurd conspiracy theories.”

But the blown up claims in “Clinton Cash” aren’t the only part of Rand Paul’s mystery Hillary scandal that he can’t deliver on. Paul has been bragging about this scandal during his speeches, but hasn’t actually been able to give any specifics when pressed for details. It’s now coming out – maybe the Kentucky Senator has none!

He must know he’s desperate, because he’s hit a new low – literally begging people on the internet to send him tips. Here’s a screenshot of a webpage on Paul’s campaign website, in which he asks his supporters to help him dig up dirt. This seriously suggests he’s open to anything that might help him further develop unfounded right-wing conspiracy theories.

It’s hard to believe that there are people who actually take Paul seriously – especially after something like this. You can’t promise a scandal and then ask people to dig the scandal up for you!

Paul has also been going hard on his Twitter account, regularly asking his followers to report any (mis)information about Hillary:

Paul’s ridiculous tactics show a few things. The first, that the GOP is viewing Hillary as a huge threat and wants to soil her campaign by any means possible. The second, perhaps more obvious, is that he’s completely desperate.

Hillary might as well get used to these kind of attacks, because the Republicans are terrified and frantically grasping at anything to destroy her. She should just take this as a clear sign that whatever she is doing is working. She couldn’t have said it better when she noted that Republicans aren’t talking about any issues or ideas – they’re just talking about her.
