George Zimmerman Injured In Road Rage Shooting Through Car Window

Ever since he evaded a conviction in the murder of Trayvon Martin after he stalked, attacked, and ultimately murdered the unarmed African-American teenager, George Zimmerman has been getting away with a lot — including numerous incidences of domestic violence and threats and a road rage incident in which he stalked then threatened, a driver who irritated him.

Unfortunately for Zimmerman, Karma may finally be catching up with him. On Monday, Zimmerman was involved in yet another instance of violence — this time on the receiving end.

Zimmerman was reportedly involved in a dispute with another driver on Lake Mary Boulevard in Florida when the other driver fired a shot through Trayvon Martin’s killer’s passenger-side window:

Officers and witnesses on the scene says that Zimmerman escaped with a minor wound. “He walked normally into the ambulance, so he wasn’t being helped or nothing,” witness Ricardo Berrare told WESH. “They actually backed up the ambulance next to his driver side so he could walk into the door.”

“The officer was talking to him through the back window because the other one had a hole in it. It was all shattered,” Berrare said.

According to police, the shooting happened at about 1 p.m., and there is a “secondary scene” related to the shooting. It is unknown what, if anything, Zimmerman did to provoke the attack. Police Chief Steve Bracknell says that there may be an “ongoing dispute” between Zimmerman and the shooter.

Initially, it was reported that Zimmerman was shot in the face, but later reports clarified that Zimmerman’s injury may be from the shattered window glass.

Zimmerman is no stranger to encounters with police, even after his acquittal for the murder of Trayvon Martin. In 2013, shortly after threatening his estranged wife’s father with a gun, Zimmerman was arrested after threatening then-girlfriend Samantha Scheibe with his trusty penile extension. The right-wing hero pushed her out of her own home and barricaded himself inside. He was arrested, but she declined to press charges.

In 2014, Zimmerman followed a driver, threatened him, and even waited for him outside his place of employment. For some inexplicable reason, the man declined to press charges.

Earlier this year, Zimmerman was arrested for domestic violence yet again after throwing a wine bottle at his girlfriend.

Police have identified the shooter as Matthew Apperson, the same person who called police last year when he felt threatened by the right-wing hero in the other road rage incident.  “Do you know who I am?” Zimmerman allegedly said to Apperson at the time. “I’ll f*cking kill you.”

You can hear the 2014 911 call here.

After Apperson fired at Zimmerman, he immediately ran for help. “I shot George Zimmerman, call 911. I don’t have a phone,” he told an employee at a nearby business. He says that he opened fire after Zimmerman waved a gun at him.

Perhaps, after being on the receiving end of a bullet, Zimmerman will learn to value human life a bit more. But, probably not.
