911 Call Triggers New Investigation Of The Duggars By Arkansas Department Of Human Services

The Duggars are under investigation once again over child safety concerns after the family refused to let DHS talk to a child in their care after a 911 call.

In a new report by In Touch magazine, the same publication that broke the Josh Duggar child molestation scandal last month, it appears the Duggars are once again being investigated by authorities after a Washington County Department of Human Services official called police for assistance after Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar failed to allow the agency to speak with one of their children. The visit occurred after a 911 call was placed on May 27 alerting law enforcement of possible child endangerment.

“A representative from the Washington County DHS called 911 on May 27 at around 11 a.m. asking for police assistance when DHS was not allowed to see the minor they were concerned about,” In Touch reports.

The Duggars made no mention of the fact that they have been under investigation again, but In Touch discovered what they are hiding via another Freedom of Information Act request that produced the 911 call.

After identifying himself as a Washington Country DHS employee and stating the Duggar family address, the caller tells the 911 operator, “We have an investigation and I guess they’re not being cooperative. We have to see the child to make sure the child is all right. So we just need police assistance.”

The Duggars have been under fire over the last month after it was revealed that Josh Duggar molested four of his sisters as a teenager while they slept – including one that was just 5 years old at the time. Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar covered up their son’s crimes until the statue of limitations had expired, thereby helping him escape prosecution and punishment.

Since the scandal broke, TLC has taken 19 Kids and Counting off the air for the foreseeable future, and at least 18 advertisers have abandoned the show. And the Duggars have only dug themselves into a deeper hole while desperately trying excuse their actions and those of their son.

For years, the Duggars have claimed that gay and transgender people are a danger to children even as they housed a pedophile under the same roof as his victims, which is incredibly hypocritical. Then charges of hypocrisy only intensified after it was revealed that Jim Bob Duggar once called for child molesters to be executed while he ran for the US Senate in 2002.

Then came the disastrous interview with Megyn Kelly on Fox News, during which the Duggars used their religion as a shield by trying to convince everyone that it’s all good because God supposedly forgave Josh, which even a Fox News host found disgusting. But they also told several lies during the interview that In Touch Magazine destroyed them for telling. Finally, Jim Bob Duggar tried to save himself by throwing some of his community of Christian friends under a bus by revealing that child molestation is common in Christian families.

And now, it sounds like yet another child at the Duggar residence is in need of help. In Touch cautioned that an investigation can be started via an anonymous hotline complaint so it’s not clear what crime may have been committed, if any. But the fact that the Duggars refused to let investigators talk to the child involved is concerning and once again makes the Duggars look bad.
