Donald Trump Unleashes Vicious Assault On Megyn Kelly When She Returns To Fox News (TWEETS)

Donald Trump may have thought he had a victory over Megyn Kelly and Fox News, but he just can’t give it a rest. Megyn Kelly has returned to Fox News from her vacation, and on Monday night, Trump took to Twitter to be a complete jerk about it. When someone angers him, he just can’t let it go, and is once again showing how childish he can be when someone doesn’t give him what he wants.

He started with a cutting, backhanded announcement that she was back:

How utterly tasteless. However, that’s trademark Trump. He doesn’t care if he’s tasteless, so long as people think he’s right. If you raise his ire, do not expect him to leave you alone until you give him what he wants (which is an abject apology and complete capitulation).

Despite the tackiness of that tweet, it seems he just couldn’t help himself, and continued:

“Unscheduled vacation.” Yes, sadly, he’s still beating that drum, despite the fact that her vacation had been planned for some time. He just has to put her in her place, because women should not do to him what she did to him at the debate.

Then he just had to double down:

And of course, it wouldn’t be Donald Trump if he didn’t at least retweet something sexist about her:

Megyn Kelly Donald Trump Retweet

Yep, by retweeting someone who called Megyn Kelly a bimbo, he went full sexist. Again. However, Fox News’ Roger Ailes isn’t taking kindly to this. According to a story on AOL News, he’s now demanding an apology from Trump for these tweets. Ailes also said:

“Megyn Kelly represents the very best of American journalism and all of us at Fox News Channel reject the crude and irresponsible attempts to suggest otherwise. I could not be more proud of Megyn for her professionalism and class in the face of all of Mr. Trump’s verbal assaults.”

So, whatever rapport Trump says they developed on that phone call, where Ailes allegedly assured Trump that Fox News would be fair, is likely gone. Ailes very likely meant it when he said that the network would give Trump fair treatment, but his definition of “fair” is considerably closer to the real definition, in this case. Trump’s definition of “fair” is kowtowing to him and kissing his behind.
